As for Nightline... if they show Newt Gingrich’s comment at the debate and the ABC’s lack of willingness to speak to witnesses in Newt Gingrich’s defense, Plus the Daughters response then I would be willing to believe they will be non-bias.
Am I dreaming?
Newt may have had some RINO moves, but he has been awakened by the Obama regime. I would trust him to reverse most of the damage Obama has done.
Remember when every one was accusing Newt of being so mad at Romney that he was going to self destruct? Well, Rick S. has a rage going on. It's been building since the race began.
He never felt the presstitutes paid enough attention to him from the beginning. He has sort of given the appearance of a junior member of the team trying to puff up his accomplishments.
He points to Iowa as a big achievement over Newt and Romney and still not feeling the love. In so doing, he ignores that Newt was the leader in the polls until Romney's big attack ads on Newt, and he was never ahead like Newt was.
Since Newt is out front in Carolina and Newt and others have made it a point to state that it is better to vote for Newt to stop Romney, and Romney and Paul are running attack ads he has just had the last straw.
He reminds me of the MBA student with no work experience who comes in, handles some projects well, and then thinks he should be the boss over people who have a longer successful track record and have been at the firm longer.

And if that's the case, Gingrich will bring up Obama's hidden past private life. As in Larry Sinclair who wrote a book about his gay affair and doing coke with Obama in Chicago. He even sent a signed copy to Michelle. If they want to go there, Gingrich WILL do it.
Gingrich can level the playing field. He's not McCain.

As for the “Newt got fired from the Speakership” crap, Yes Newt made slackers in the Congress very antsy. I like that.
Those guys that got Newt out gave us two utter failures to replace Newt, Bob Livingstone and Denny Hastert, both of the “Don’t Make Democrats Mad” school of thought. Result:Conservatives got rolled EVEN WHEN we had a majority!

Rick attacked his fellow Republicans, and tried to burnish his own credentials in nearly every single answer he gave. This, when the other three candidates were mostly expressing their own particular visions for the country, and knocking Obama - as they should.
I don't remember Rick taking Obama to task a single time in the debate, but he sure did try to rip all three of the Republicans to shreds.
It was a petty, nasty performance, unbecoming of someone who wants to be our president. I'm sure he lost a ton of support tonight, with that.

Well, judging by 2008, most of them ARE.
I think Newt is plenty clever and can be nuanced when needed, but many are finding his directness refreshing, even gratifying in contrast to all the PC pussyfooting we get nowadays from politicians.
Rick Santorum did himself no favors this evening. I did not tolerate whining from my children, so I certainly will not tolerate it in a Presidential candidate!
