I’m a social and fiscal conservative. Santorum’s big-goverment record should make even social conservatives think twice.

I think that's because big government is the enemy of both fiscal conservatism and social conservatism. Bringing back limited government IS THE ONLY WAY that social and fiscal conservatives can restore prosperity and morality to America.

By definition, big government sabotages fiscal conservatism, that's pretty obvious.

Less obvious is how much big government is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the moral decline in this nation. Social conservatives hate that abortion is legal everywhere in America. FEDERAL authority prevents any of us, anywhere, from outlawing it in our towns, our counties, ours states. Why is that? BIG GOVERNMENT -- Roe v. Wade. Seek and support a LIMITED GOVERNMENT conservative, see Roe v Wade overturned, and those of us who hate abortion will have taken the first steps toward abolishing abortion where we live; from there, the movement expands beyond.

Social conservatives hate that prayers can't be said in public schools and at graduation ceremonies, that Christian crosses can't be placed anywhere and everywhere, that secularism is aggressively erasing our Christian heritage. Well, guess HOW this happens? BIG GOVERNMENT. If you want to solve this socially conservative dilemma, advocate for LIMITED GOVERNMENT, because BIG GOVERNMENT is responsible for the problem.

Social conservatives hate seeing the gay "rights" agenda making it ILLEGAL for free people to peacefully discriminate against open homosexuality in our schools, workplaces, military, civic clubs, youth groups, churches, business, and communities. BIG GOVERNMENT is to blame, and the ONLY way to beat this social-conservative issue is to seek LIMITED GOVERNMENT.

Social conservatives hate that they are forced, with their tax dollars, to support sloth and welfare single motherhood, and have less to donate to REAL charities of their choices -- churches, the Salvation Army, etc. BIG GOVERNMENT has caused immorality.

If social and fiscal conservatives are really serious about bringing America around to becoming again a MORAL and PROSPEROUS free society, then it must seek the solution through LIMITED GOVERNMENT.

You do know that newts aren't lizards? Lizards are reptiles. Newts are amphibians.

Now, Romney -- he's a reptile.

It’s probably too much work for you, but it sure would be interesting to see everyone’s second choice and third choices with an overall weight assigned to each candidate.

E.g. 3 points for first choice, 2 points for second choice, and 1 point for third choice.

I bet we’d get a good idea of who should drop out after SC/FL.

The good news is Newt and Perry are friends and allies who would work together implementing each others’ ideas.

They’d get twice as much of Zero’s crap un-done in half the time.

This is great. I know it’s a lot of trouble, but it would be interesting if you did this again right after the SC primary so we could compare. Right before we start insisting 2 of the 3 contenders drop out. ;)

I vote Santorum.

If Newt wins the primary, I’ll vote for him in the general. He’s got too much baggage for me to support him until then.

I like Santorum and I hope he does well tomorrow.

Perry; he’s the only one with a real record in an executive political position that has far more for conservatives/republicans to smile about than to frown about and is the perfect comparison to Obama because both inherited an economy from GWB but only Perry managed to make his inheritance flourish, even in the tough economic times wrought by decades of liberal distortion of the economy. A parable of talents, if you will.
