Hi Davey. I’m sorry to hear about your family’s travails. I, too, have been having problems with my father who has Alzheimers, a failing heart and other health issues.

But what concerns me most is your post about Fukushima. Be careful! There is a great deal of misinformation and hsteria circulating among blogs on the internet.

“...Diplomat Akio Matsumura is warning that the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japanmay ultimately turn into an event capable of extinguishing all life on Earth...In both cases the radioactive rods are not protected by a containment vessel; dangerously, they are open to the air. This would certainly cause a global catastrophe like we have never before experienced...”

Not a lot of facts in that statement. I know that the problem ISN’T reactor #4, but the spent fuel pool. If it collapses, now way will it extinguish all life on Earth. That is a ridiculous statement. As to the six reactors being shut down, I believe Fukushima is no longer operational, so they are already non-functioning.

“... He stressed that the responsibility of Japan to the rest of the world is immeasurable. Such a catastrophe would affect us all for centuries.”

I used to work at the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant, outside of Prescott, Oregon. The facility was shutdown and the fuel unloaded from the the reactor to the spent fuel pool. A few years later the pool was unloaded and the spent fuel stacked outside in the open air indise a secure fence. This did not result in a world-wide catastrophe and I sincerely doubt such would be the case at Fukushima.

If you can provide a source for the following I will debunk it: “...Still Spewing Massive Radiation Plumes; America In ‘Huge Trouble,’ Says Nuclear Expert Tsunami Debris Washes Ashore On The West Coast America In ‘Huge Trouble’ Says Nuclear Expert Harley...”

You have enough to worry about in your private life without reading this nonsense.

Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad spills the beans.

If anyone still harbours any doubts about Islamic intent and purposes, this revered Islamic cleric’s recent explanation of their rules and how they apply differently to non-muslims should clear things up.

Immigration fraud charges laid against 3 Halifax men

Snip:Ziad El Shurafa and Mohammed Elhajabed each face eight counts of counselling misrepresentation. Awni Sakalla faces two counts of the same charge.

The CBSA has issued warrants for El Shurafa and Elhajabed, although it's believed they're no longer in the country.

Al Qaeda guide encourages western terrorists to attack at home

Snip:“I strongly recommend all the brothers and sisters coming from the West to consider attacking America in its own backyard,” Khan wrote, according to the excerpts published by CNN. “The effect is much greater, it always embarrasses the enemy, and these type of individual decision-making attacks are nearly impossible for them to contain.”

The guide, released Monday, makes clear that Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) views Western recruits as more valuable to its campaign of international terrorism than in waging insurgent operations in Yemen.

“If you're coming from the West, especially America, you might be asked by the leaders of the mujahidin or those who know where you're from why you didn't partake in jihad inside your country,” Khan’s guide states, according to CNN. “If you tell them, 'to help the mujahidin,' they might tell you that attacking the enemy in their backyard is one of the best ways to help the jihad. They certainly will not force you to go back home, but they will leave that option open for you just in case you change your mind and decide to attack the enemy back home.”

Najat Vallaud-Belkacum - the young muslim woman at the heart of France's modern regime

Snips: Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, 34, is the youngest member of the cabinet which assembled yesterday under the chairmanship of President François Hollande. She is the Minister for Women's Affairs and will be the official spokeswoman for the government and, therefore, the mouthpiece for "Hollandism".

A married mother of twins, Ms Vallaud-Belkacem is a "non-practising Muslim". After winning scholarships to elite colleges, she calls herself a "pure product of the [egalitarianism] of the [French] Republic". She insisted yesterday, however, that she wanted to be judged on her abilities, not on her "triple symbolism" as a young female of North African origin.

Two Obama Administration Scandals on Syria?
PJ Media ^ | 5/17/12 | Barry Rubin

Posted on Friday, May 18, 2012 7:55:40 PM by Nachum

When a delegation of Syrian Kurdish rebels recently visited Washington, D.C., the State Department met them to ask for a favor. What was it? The Obama administration urged them to join the Syrian National Council (SNC), the organization created by the U.S. government through Turkey to lead the opposition movement and receive Western aid for all Syrian opposition groups.

But the Turkish Islamist regime, which Obama put in charge of forming the SNC, put the Muslim Brotherhood in control, a fact I pointed out within hours of the announcement of the SNC leadership’s names.

Third of malaria drugs 'are fake'

Snip: A third of malaria drugs used around the world to stem the spread of the disease are counterfeit, data suggests.

Researchers who looked at 1,500 samples of seven malaria drugs from seven countries in South East Asia say poor-quality and fake tablets are causing drug resistance and treatment failure.

Pneumonia vaccine shown to actually increase bacterial infections it is supposed to prevent

Snip: …The health community has known for years that non-vaccine S. pneumoniae serotypes had not only quickly replaced the seven included in the original Prevnar vaccine, but were also causing invasive non-vaccine-type pneumonia to increase by 71 percent.

Here is something people should be aware of.

Going on in Norway, but bound to affect others. The socialist international means just that.

http://www.sv.uio.no/arena/english/research/publications/arena-publications/reports/2005/Report_07_05.pdf

This is a socialist “think tank”, state sponsored. The work of this fellow (who I had a little tiff with to the point of him retracting his tweets) seems to be about removing the national borders, trampling the constitutions and hide the “democratic deficit” in the EU. As you can see, he’s not very complicated but likes to flaunt his academic status.

So, just get his paper. The freepers who understand the language might want to keep it, and his other projects which seem to be more constitution-mangling. We need to keep tabs.

Radioactive Tuna from Japan Found Off Calif. Coast
KTLA News ^ | 6:29 a.m. PDT, May 29, 2012

Posted on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 11:06:48 AM by BenLurkin

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Scientists say that migrating Pacific bluefin tuna off California's coast are carrying radioactive contamination from Japan.

According to findings in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the levels of radioactivity are 10 times higher than the amounts usually found.

Scientists sampled 15 tuna caught off San Diego and found that they all contained two radioactive substances — caesium-134 and caesium-137. The tuna have carried the radioactive contamination 6,000 miles from the waters near Japan's crippled nuclear plant.

It was damaged in a devastating magnitude 9.0 quake and subsequent tsunami in April 2011.

Experts say this is the first time that a huge migrating fish has been shown to carry radioactivity that far.

Previously, smaller fish and plankton in the waters off Japan were found to have higher-than-normal levels of radioactivity.

Scientists say that, even with the increased radioactivity, the levels in the tuna are still within the limits of what is safe to eat.

Top al Qaeda strategist may have been killed in Pakistan

PESHAWAR/DERA ISMAIL KHAN | Tue Jun 5, 2012 12:55am EDT

(Reuters) - Abu Yahya al-Libi, one of al Qaeda’s top strategists and seen as the most prominent figure in the network after leader Ayman al Zawahri, may have been killed in a drone strike in northwest Pakistan, Pakistani intelligence officials said on Tuesday.

If his death is confirmed it would be the biggest blow to al Qaeda since U.S. special forces killed Osama bin Laden in a secret raid in Pakistan in May 2011.

U.S. sources said Libi, a Libyan cleric with a degree in chemistry who has survived previous drone attacks, was a target of a strike early on Monday in the North Waziristan tribal region, home to some of the world’s most notorious militant groups.

Some U.S. officials describe Libi, whose real name is Mohamed Hassan Qaid, as number two to al Zawahri, the former Egyptian doctor who took over al Qaeda after bin Laden’s death.

Always an option

“As we’ve discussed, I heard something that troubled me deeply, and still does. As Obama’s approval rating dips, desperation becomes more of an issue. There is much discussion about the racial divide in this country, and as we talked about, there is an anticipation over the Trayvon Martin case. - Depending on how things go, they are determined to inflate this into a much larger issue, and plan to fan the flames of racial division to cause a much broader divide - resulting in a chaos on the streets.

"But a back-up plan might be in the works. - Remember, this is just rumor, just talk, but it makes sense. - Something that would cause deep sympathy for Obama and even the First Family - a false flag operation where Obama or his family would not be in any actual danger, - but it would appear that way. - Some sort of a threat or incident against them carried out by a person or group fitting the fictitious threat categories identified earlier.

"Perhaps by a pro-Second Amendment, Constitutionalist, and racist as well - making the most out of the fantasy threats to our country. - Something that will fool a whole lot of people and justify police-state like practices. - Something that will change the hearts and minds of as many people as possible, perhaps convincing them that there is a danger and Obama is right. Just the thought of such a thing is chilling."

"Concluding (with) quote by Adolph Hitler’s Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels: “The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it.”"

Just re-visiting your map on post 511. FEMA camps? Local rumour has it that there is one in Edgemont, SD. Igloo, SD is very close. It was a former munitions depot during WWII.

FWIW.

I've said it it private, and I'll say it out loud:

I would not put it past a muslim to sacrifice his own daughters to further the goal of ummah.
