5 candidates off the ballot in VA due to a change in proceedure that certain candidates were prepped for... And not others.

“This country cannot survive 4 more years of zero. It will survive a Romney presidency. “

*****

It cannot survive 4 years of Romney either. If a choice between Obama and Romney, better to have Zero get his second term and the full blame for the country’s financial implosion than have Romney become Hoover II for the Democrats to beat up on for the next four decades.

NOT suggesting a vote for Obama under any circumstances. Just sitting out the top of the ticket if Romney is crammed down our throats as the GOP nominee. Vote for conservative candidates down ticket and then declare war on the GOP establishment that has already declared war on conservatism and libertarianism.

>>Is just as evil as evil can be.

You’ll learn what evil is when you see a President Barack Obama who doesn’t fear another election in action. I only pray that the Dems lose the Senate in this election because we’ve already lost the White House. But if the R’s do gain control of both houses, then it will be very difficult to start a REAL second party because then the elites will tell us to stay the course so we don’t lose Congress in 2014.

That leaves Gingrich, Bachmann, Perry or Santorum. Huntsman? Who?

My philosophical preference is Bachmann, then Santorum. I can live with Newt, if it's just Newt standing against Romney by the time of the NY primary. If Newt has it in the bag, or it's still a toss up, maybe I'll vote for Bachmann.

It's still early. I think Newt is the best speaker and debater, but he carries a lot of impedimenta.

I’m writing in my cat. He’s far more qualified than any of the other candidates.

I disagree! Conservatives shouldn’t back anyone until the convention, because the only way they will have any voice at all will be if there is a stalemate, and the party has to choose a dark horse candidate.

The most likely dark horse is Sarah Palin, but there are others who are conservatives.

Right now, the GOP leadership have all committed to Romney, so more than anything else, conservatives have to block him.

Since there are now only two candidates in Virginia, even if you intensely dislike Ron Paul, he should still get your vote, if only to deny Romney a decisive victory.

Paul isn’t going anywhere, so it is a no risk vote.

I already know how evil Obama is. And there’s no way I will vote for someone just as evil.

love my country more than I hate Romney.

Ditto here. I'm no fan whatsoever of Romney, but Obama MUST be defeated. If Romney is the guy going forward, so be it.

Nobody has ever said the elite are very bright. Here’w the deal, it won’t matter who the activists are, the average voter won’t vote for Romney and if that happens, there will be no down ticket votes either. That means no senate and possibly no house. Not good, but that’s the way it is. The elite really do need to be taken out and horsewhipped. They are creating this disaster and they have no idea just how bad it’s going to be.

NO! Just plain and simply NO! Are we going to have to listen to these posts over and over regarding voting the party line....AGAIN.

It is called INSANITY. You know...doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same bad result....

I will support the nominee unless it is Ron Paul. I can’t go that far. Dude is a kook.

I'm seriously thinking someone else is going to throw their hat in the ring. Palin, Daniels, Christi, Ryan, Jeb or maybe even Trump. There is still time for someone to jump in and spark some excitement. I really believe that Santorum being a young, fresh face could resonate with America if he gets some traction coming out of Iowa.

...I'll be respectful, when do we get serious about a third party.

If the GOP nominates Romney, and he loses to Obama. Daffy Duck could beat Obama!

If the Tea Party movement continues making progress in Congress in 2012 and 2014, that's a different situation as most RINOs will know they don't have a chance in 2016.

It is not just about the offices or president. Until we take our culture back from the progressives we will always be one election away from the death of freedom.

I'm not so sure. I recall a president named Nixon who campaigned as a conservative, yet when he got in, he embraced the Great Society, vastly expanded federal intrusion into the economy by creating the EPA and OSHA, started Affirmative Action, appointed the Supreme Court Justice who wrote Roe vs Wade, and tried to push through a guaranteed annual income. If his track record is anything to go by, President Romney will embrace and expand Obamacare and fill the judiciary with liberals, as he did in Massachusetts. On the other hand, if Obama is re-elected, he'll be seen as a lame duck as soon as he takes the oath of office.

Spare me your brilliance. It hurts my head.

So you will not vote at all if it is Romney or Paul? Not likely it will be Paul, so we are talking Romney. If you do not vote for Romney, you will allow an Obama voter (of which there will be many) to have their vote counted and not negated. It’s simple mathematics - a nonvote by you is a vote for Obama. For all intents and purposes, you will be voting for Obama, no?

If we hold our noses and vote Romney (when the GOPgives him the nomination), and stay ANGRY, we can start forming our new party in January 2013. But we have to stay mad...mad as hell!

Mad? No doubt about it. You're stark raving mad.
