Negative voting more a factor against Obama than against either Republican
PRINCETON, NJ -- Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich essentially tie President Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election preferences of registered voters nationwide. Fifty percent of registered voters would support Obama in each hypothetical matchup, while 48% would give their vote to Gingrich or Romney..................

Also, Newt still leads Mitt by two in today's Gallup poll!!!!
Ping!
GO NEWT!
Any poll numbers at this point are a floor for Newt. He will do a good job of making a conservative case to the entire nation.
These results are different from yesterdays poll and will be different from tomorrows poll.
These polls must be driving the media reporters and pundits crazy.
Have figured out why they hate Newt - when he brings up a complex argument - they are too lazy to do research - if they did - and if they could comprehend - they would have to admit he is right!!!!!!!
This is good news, given what we all know about who will be energized for the election, and who won't.
0bama is beatable by anybody other than 0bama lite. In other words, Mitt Romney would not be a good GOP nominee.
For the third straight week, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has lost ground in a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup against President Obama.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Obama attracting 48% of voters, while Gingrich earns the vote from 37%. Nine percent (9%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
Heard this on Rush today. Newt should use it as a campaign ad 24/7. It is not vicious...it is factual. Romney is Obama lite.

RUSH: Okay. So the reason people keep bringing this up is that you can go back to just last year, and you can hear Romney totally supportive of the mandate. Which is what the entire question of constitutionality on this bill is all about. That’s what’s going to be decided in the Supreme Court. Here’s Romney supporting it. But when he’s asked about it, “I’m gonna get rid of Obamacare, it’s horrible,” but in 2000, “Oh, there’s some things I like about it.” It just goes to the flip-flop nature, or the flip-flop charge, if you will.
Half of our country is suicidally stupid.
Article on Newsmax Newt Gingrich Can Beat Obama

Can Newt Gingrich beat Barack Obama next November? Sure he can. It’s really important to understand this. Whoever the Republican candidate is, that candidate will be subject to what Obama allies say is a $750 million wrecking ball. Obama’s whole campaign totaling $1...

And the other half ain't all that bright either.
Pathetic. We should be beating him 2-1.
Nope.
This must be an old Poll. Mitt is the only man who has a chance of taking down Obama—All others will go down to defeat before the impressive Obama Machine and his hundreds of millions of Black Voters. Newt is nuts—Why he thinks Judges should be arrested and sent to Palestine. A Religious nut to—don’t ya know he sat on a couch with the evil Nancy Polosi? He is too fat—too smart—too, not Romney.
Obviously someone is lying.
Coulter and Ingrahmm are taking sleeping pills by the handful.
Merry Christmas
Newt has had the worst thrown at him by all of his rivals and the lamestream on both sides, yet he is still tied and moving ahead!
Now he’s answering his attackers and also landed the Family Assocation endorsement that Santorum wanted.
GO GINGRICH!
LOLOLOLOL.
Merry CHRISTmas!
“and if they could comprehend”
That is the problem they have with Newt. He is too smart for them and they are too obtuse to understand him.
Romney just smiles and looks pretty, and mumbles nonsense that even he doesn’t understand because it is illogical or double talk.
