Sharon Bialek of Chicago became the first woman accusing Herman Cain of sexual harassment to go public Monday, describing an alleged incident in Washington in 1997 in which the president contender, then the president of the National Restaurant Association stuck his hand up her skirt and tried to pull her head toward his crotch. "I said, 'What are you doing?'" alleged Bialek, who said she had contacted Cain for help getting a job. "You know I have a boyfriend. This isn't what I came here for." According to Bialek, Cain answered, "You want a job, right?" Bialek claims that after the incident she rejoined her boyfriend and told him that Cain had been "sexually inappropriate." Cain campaign spokesman J.D. Gordon immediately responded with a statement that said, "All allegations of harassment against Mr. Cain are completely false. Mr. Cain has never harassed anyone."
Bialek appeared with attorney Gloria Allred at a press conference at New York's Friars Club. Two other women filed complaints of sexual harassment against Cain while he helmed the NRA, but neither has spoken publicly. According to the Associated Press, a third woman also alleges sexual harassment by Cain while working at the trade group, but said did not file an internal complaint because one of her coworkers had already done so. Bialek, described by Allred as a Republican and the single mother of a 13-year-old, said she had come forward "to give a face to those women who cannot."

Under the current “rules of evidence,” the MSM can easily come up with a different female Cain accuser every day for the next year. Or the next ten years, for that matter.
Wierdly enough, I simply don’t believe it. I believed it with Bill Clinton, but not this man. My intuition tells me that Cain’s being set up. Just my gut feeling.

What she claims Cain did is physically impossible. The steering wheel is in the way.
It is physically impossible for the woman here to be telling the truth.
Note that her “lawyer” says the woman is not going to sue.

* Didn’t sue 15 years ago, because...someone else filed a complaint? Sorry, but if you’re sexually assaulted you go to police, you don’t ‘file a complaint’

Isn’t there enough in today’s statement to sue her for liable / slander? From what I heard her say, there isn’t any evidence she can produce to substantiate her claims. It would seem that Cain can very easily show that she made public statements. Wouldn’t the burden then be on her to prove that her claims are true?
The narrative will unfold something like this: she didn’t report the behavior to the authorities in 1997 because she feared for her safety or something.
She’s not going to sue because she doesn’t have a case. She (and Allred) have probably already received a hefty paycheck by some Democrat.
Who travels to DC for a job interview that includes dinner and a Hotel Room? I suspect she came on to Herman and he is the one who embarrassed her by commenting: “I thought you wanted a job.”
There are women who use sex to get ahead and she looks the type. They sleep their way to the top and their female colleagues are the ones who get scrooood.
She must be a writer for one of the popular TV shows currently running in prime time. She's got the same knack for dialog.
