The New Hampshire Primary is a must win for hometown Mitt Romney, but the sudden surge of Herman Cain has now put a threat to Romneys huge lead in New Hampshire. In a recent Insider Advantage poll Herman Cain rose to 24% while Romney has fallen to 39%. Romney has been as high as 45% in previous polls. Romney has been slipping in recent New Hampshire polls, some believe due to his pressure to move the Nevada Caucus ahead of the New Hampshire Primary. mitt-romney-town-hall-new-hampshire A win for Herman Cain in Iowa could give him the momentum to make the New Hampshire Primary a race after all.

Please tell me that you're kidding. Please? The last thing we need is that FUD-e-dud with millions in air-time selling fear of conservatism.
If it is true, I hope the reaction to it spells the end of Rove's career. I, for one, will write letters to Fox News if they do it.
Cain is a puzzle for the establishment. Now of course I already is the Romney folks employing their assets in the conservative media to attack his ‘electibility’ as if we don’t know he is prolife and as if we don’t know our existing tax code is worse than any possible proposed reform. The perfect can not be the enemy of good or we will end up with Mitt Romney which is the enemy of all that we stand for.
I'm going to have to stop referring to the Perry people at 3%ers.
Don't you mean hallelujah?
Apparently telling 73% of Republicans and 74% of Independents they 'have no heart' wasn't such a keen tactical strategy for the La Raza Rick Perry campaign.
What I’m picking up from my friends and neighbors is that they like Cain’s imperfections. They like the fact that he’s able to make adjustments as he goes along and doesn’t get too locked in for political expediency.
I do think Cain is the only one who can mount a real challenge to both Romney and Obama here in Michigan.
Why is Romney popular in the Live Free Or Die state?
I've been watching RCP polling numbers every day (graphs also but the numbers that go with them) and have the screen shots to prove Cain has risen steadily to 26% and has never dropped.
Where did you get these numbers? I don’t see some of these results cited anywhere. Here’s the latest from what I can find:
Latest South Carolina:
(Insider Advantage, 10/16, LV)
Herman Cain 32%
Mitt Romney 16%
Rick Perry 12%
Latest Nevada:
(Project New West, 9/25-9/27, LV)
Mitt Romney 31%
Herman Cain 26%
Rick Perry 12%
Newt Gingrich 7%
It looks like you may be mistaking the Nevada straw poll for an actual poll.
I made it up, but wouldn't be surprised if it did happen. Hannity constantly inviting "The Architect" [retch] on his show is one of the many reasons I stopped listening to him.
For the two cents it’s worth...
I don’t believe that Cain is a puzzle to the “establishment” at all. I think they know that if he’s elected, he would try to fix some of the inefficiencies of our government. “Establishment” types like the status-quo. A small change here and there is fine, but anything major is a threat to their money, power and/or influence.
Same thing with Ron Paul. The “establishment” has already branded Paul as a nutcase, and they’ll try to do the same thing with Cain.
I think that the “establishment” thinks people like Cain and Paul are a threat, not a puzzle. That’s why they must be marginalized.
Romney or Perry would be a safe choice for them. Yes, a President Perry or a President Romney would fight ObamaCare and pull back on some of Obama’s ruinous policies, but other than that, are they really going to change how DC works? I don’t think so.
Locusts from MA fleeing the high taxes and settling in NH. They bring their statist attitudes with them. Similar phenomenon happened with New Yorkers fleeing to Vermont.
Perry ahead is 1
Louisiana: Perry 23, Cain 21, Romney 17 - Perry +2
Louisiana used to be such a nice state. Now it is a liberal cess pool. Sad. Oh well I guess there has to be one stupid state. Get off your a$$ Louisiana and get on the Cain train NOW!!!!!
Backstabbing cowardly leper Mitt Romney:
"Do your duty for me. Attack the woman and the black man.
You surrogates will embrace these attacks through the media,
as when you threw elections 2008 and 2010
to the DNC
.. for ME. FOR ME.
Create, then support, the most vicious anti-GOP attacks from our northern lands,
our bought media, and our plants within the Obama team.
I will gain GOP favor by condemning the very same attacks and
ordering them opposed from our lands in the south.
Whichever way the tide runs, we will arise and only I will be left standing.
A Cain supporter put that together -

If Cain even gets close to Romney (much less beats him) in New Hampshire, Romney would be done for.
That’s crazy talk, I don’t want Perry to quit, I want him to spend every cent he has to destroy Romney, clearing the way for a Cain landslide.
new hampshire
michigan
arizona
vermont
maryland
connecticut
rhode island
Romney should be expected to win all 7 of those, thus the way to judge Romney's true strength is to see how far ahead he is in those 7 states, and if he is ahead at all in the other 43.... when you look at it that way, you see how bad a position Romney is really in.
Just dayum....
Even Ron Paul beats Perry at home. Give it up, Rick. It ain't happenin.
I think Cain will win Arizona. His support there is huge right now, esp with the tea party.
He gave this barn burner of a speech this week
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2796593/posts
And he generally likes Romney, except for a couple of things,
RomneyCare, in particular.
