Rosie O’Donnell has one big regret.

Days before the launch of “The Rosie Show” on the struggling OWN network, the controversial talk-show host says she is still kicking herself over a famous, televised ambush of Tom Selleck.

“In hindsight, if I had to redo [it], I would do it differently,” she admits.

He is “a kind man, who, for the rest of his life, has to be associated with me and that one event.”

Ohmigosh, that is a fact. I saw an ad tonight where she and Oprah both sang “John Travolta”. Both fat ladies were singing!

“I was pretty raw. It was the first time I was in what I perceived to be a position of power -- which I thought came with fame. And I was really disillusioned to find out that it didn’t.”

This is how all liberals are. A little fame turns them into petty little dictators.

Are you being sarcastic? I’m sorry, but I’m not sure.

If you’re not, I’ll briefly explain. Tom Selleck was invited to appear on the Rosie Show (when there was a show). Mr. Selleck appeared before a studio audience. During the interview, Rosie unexpectedly starts peppering Mr. Selleck with questions about his involvement with the NRA and firearms. Surprised by her question, Tom maintains his composure and tries to answer her questions, but Rosie begins to attack Mr. Selleck concerning the NRA and firearms.

It was classless and cowardly. Rosie’s rating dropped and her show was canceled shortly thereafter, and rightly so. She’ll never recover from that stunt.

“In hindsight, if I had to redo [it], I would do it differently,” she admits.

In hindsight, there is no such thing as a nice ambush or sucker punch. Rosie was being Rosie.

"He is 'a kind man, who, for the rest of his life, has to be associated with me and that one event.' "

Don't flatter yourself you hypocritical pig. When all is said and done, Tom Selleck will be remembered for Magnum PI, and the rest of his 40 year acting career. And for his class. Most, if not all, of us have forgotten that event with you. We also forgot you shilled for KMart (they sold guns!), had ARMED bodyguards, and were once, long, long, long ago called "The Queen of Nice". Tom is on the Number one show on TV on Friday, while you...uh... are on Oprah's network. Oh, and you literally looked like a football on Curb Your Enthusiasm last month. Good. Day!

You should check out his show Blue Bloods...very politically incorrect. Family meals, prayer before meals

It's one of my favorite shows for those reasons and others.

He lives on a rather nice spead in "Hidden Valley", which may or may not be part of Thousand Oaks.

Unless some local shows you, you will never know which place is his. I did not, although having ridden my bike past many times. Had it pointed out from the top of one of the local hills years later.
