What Can We Do To Help Governor Palin Right Now? (buy the DVD)
Conservatives4Palin ^ | October 03. 2011 | Nicole Coulter

Posted on 10/04/2011 8:00:49 AM PDT by sickoflibs

I can’t wait to rush out tomorrow and buy my own DVD of The Undefeated … Meanwhile, Sandra Peppers has some great ideas for hosting viewing parties and more. This is a do-it-yourself effort. Everybody can play a valuable role. As Todd Palin commented on the interview with Steve Bannon last night … he was “blown away” at how much of Governor Palin’s record was covered, and covered well, in just a few short hours.

Guest Submission by Sandra Peppers

I know a lot of C4P peeps and “Palinistas” are disappointed and unhappy that Governor Palin has not announced her plans as of yet and quite a few are tense and frustrated and that is understandable. We have a completely grassroots campaign without a candidate for possibly another few weeks. People that support Mitt Romney or Barack Obama or Chris Christie or Rick Perry, etc. … don’t understand Sarah Palin supporters. They don’t understand the deep commitment and feelings we have towards Governor Palin.

Some have called us nutty or freaks or other names. Remember … I am the one that has had the dream of Sarah Palin’spresidential inauguration for over 35 years …how much nuttier can you get? That is because they don’t understand the kinds of feelings that we have for her or why. Shoot … some of us don’t even know why we have the feelings we do about Sarah … we just do! I think Sarah described one way when she was talking about how a Mama Grizzly feels about her cubs. We feel the same way about Sarah and more. She’s not just a politician to most of us. And the left and some on the right will NEVER understand that. Maybe some people felt this way about JFK, but that was before my time.

Sarah … We are ready to jump in and start with the boots on the ground part. We are ready to get in the ring and start Round 1. We are engaged and want to get to work. We are ready to start making calls and makingsigns. WE are ready to knock on doors and tell people WHY Sarah Palin would make THE best choice for President of the United States of America in2012! But for the moment we have our muzzles on and we are impatiently waiting to be unleashed. We WILL wait for you because there IS no substitute. We will not settle or hold our noses again.

But there IS something that we can do RIGHT NOW! And it doesn’t cost a lot of money.

The following are a few great ideas that WE can use RIGHT NOW to help Sarah whether or not she decides to throw her hat in the presidential ring:

“The Undefeated” comes out on DVD on Tuesday, October 4th! This is THE ultimate weapon we have in our arsenal and we will have the ability to use it in the next few days. Some of us have already DVR’d it and those of us that have, can start even sooner. Buy as MANY copies of the DVD that you can buy. There are two different versions of “The Undefeated”available. The “Exclusive” version that is ONLY available from Wal-Mart….and the “Standard”version that is available from Wal-Mart and other locations like Amazon, etc. The difference between the “Exclusive” and “Standard” versions is the“Exclusive” version has the CD/MP3 audio version of Governor Palin’s book “Going Rogue”. The “Standard”version does not have the audio book.

Buy as many copies of the DVD that you can, even if that’s only one or two. Even if you have only one copy you can still make a difference and havefun doing it. I bought 44 copies of the “Exclusive” version and six copies of the “Standard” version from Wal-Mart. The “Exclusive” version from Wal-Mart is not at this time limited in quantity purchased but the “Standard” version is limited to six copies per person. From Wal-Mart the “Exclusive” is $14.96 and the “Standard” is $12.96. The “Standard” version has free shipping as of today. I paid approximately $2.20 per DVD in both tax and shipping combined. For about a $100 investment you can get five of the “Exclusive” versions of the DVD including tax and shipping.

Once you have your DVDs then you can do a few things. Since I got mostly the “Exclusive” version I am going to take the CD out of thepackage from the DVD and I have a 100 of those old empty CD cases lying around collecting dust and separate some of the CDs and the DVDs. Put a label with YOUR name, email and phone number on the DVD/CD and then ALSO include on thelabel the O4P website, etc. At the bottom of this page I will have a templatethat you can copy and print out. Then loan them out to your friends and familyand neighbors!

I am going to be taking my stack of DVDs and CDs to my next local tea party meeting and loaning them out to the members of our group. I’ve already got several people saying they want to borrow one. Please do not “rent” them out. When you take your DVDs to the meeting and yo uloan them out … ask the person you are loaning it to if they know of someone else that might be interested in seeing the movie. If they do, then ask them to pass it on to them and have them return it to you at the next meeting. You can do this with ANY group you associate with. The Young Republicans or Women’s groups or quilting bee or bowling team … it doesn’t have to be a tea party group.

Ask your group if you can have a viewing of the movie at the next meeting. Or form your own viewing party. Most restaurants have a back room area that they hold baby showers and different kinds of small events in. Find out what you can do to have a viewing party at a local restaurant or pizza parlor. You can order a variety of pizzas or appetizers and drinks and then divide the cost among the viewers. This kind of thing is actually better that Sarah ISN’T an announced candidate. Once Sarah announces … you can’t have a viewing party like this without FEC rules. So it’s important to do this kind of thing sooner rather than later.

Have a small viewing party in your own home if you feel comfortable doing that. Have kind of a potluck deal or dessert sampling … or wine orbeer tasting and view the movie together. This kind of event is better if you know the people you are inviting, of course. You can do invitations and havethem bring someone new kind of like how they used to do Tupperware Parties or Pampered Chef and those kinds of things. There is a LOT of ideas online for these kinds of things.

If you own a business and have a TV in your shop, put the DVD in and let it go throughout the day. Of course not all businesses or locations wouldbe right for this kind of thing. But if you have maybe an auto shop in aconservative state that has a TV in the waiting room…why not play the PGversion of the movie? Now I wouldn’t run the unrated version in adoctor’s office in Berkeleybut I think you can judge whether or not it’s appropriate for your business.

Ask your local beauty salon or day spa to play the movie for the day or while you’re in there. Ladies …it’s the perfect length movie for highlights!!! The holidays are coming up and people will be having get-togethers. Whether good or bad … Sarah Palin is ALWAYS a conversation starter in almost ANY group and it is OUR job to turn the conversation around to her strengths and set the record straight.

Give the separated audio book CD/MP3 to a commuter friend … someone that doesn’t have the time to actually read her book but spends a lot of time in traffic or on the road. Have them pass it on at work. By dividing the CD from the movie you can reach twice the number of people. Bring the audio book to the gym and give it to your workout buddies. The CD/MP3 can be given to just about anybody.

Take pictures of your event and submit them to your O4P group or to C4P or one of the other Palin support websites. My O4P state coordinator, Thomas, is always telling us to take pictures for posting online because “if it’s not on the internet…it didn’t happen”.

Make your own yard signs and put them in your yard and ask your friends and neighbors if you can put a sign in their yard. “Palin 2012” or make up your own sign. The more “homemade” they are … the better! One of the frequent posters here at C4P, John McKenna will give you a free Sarah Palin bumper sticker if you send him a self-addressed-stamped-envelope and you go to his website.

Anything we do to help Governor Sarah Palin helps us. It’s an investment to me. And the libs and establishment GOP will laugh but it’s an investment in the future of our country. We KNOW she’s not owned by ANYBODY! Not a title like REPUBLICAN and all the dues she won’t pay there. We KNOW what she’s going to do on the economy! We KNOW that she is NOT going to be bought by any corporations! And because she isn’t going to be financed by these big donors and bundlers that Rick Perry and Chris Christie and Barack Obama have been talking to … that leaves US! We the People! We don’t need to wait for Governor Palin to announce anything. Let’s send Governor Palin a message by showing her how ready WE are!

Do you have any ideas on how to help now? Please post them in thecomments section or feel free to email me at Org4PalinSolano@yahoo.com.

Here is a template of what you can tape onto your copy of “TheUndefeated” or “Going Rogue” audio book, or you can make you rown. Just copy and paste this into a Word Document or other word processing program.

Organize 4 Palin is strictly a grassroots organization of volunteers. This DVD was NOT paid for by a billionaire or financed by a corporation. I paid for this DVD or CD myself because I believe that Sarah Palin’s message is worth listening to and it is important to me to set the record straight. So PLEASE return this DVD or CD to me so that I can pass it on to another friend. Thank you!

She has, I believe, 10 days till the Michigan candidate registration deadline.

Will she RUN OR NOT?!?

The suspense is killing me. If she does all is well, if not then I'll have to say she'd used us all very ill.

I attended a small house party showing of "The Undefeated" with a Palin supporter showing the film, the hostess, whom I have no idea where her sympathies lie and 3 Ron Paul supporters.

While I like parts of the movie, there were parts that were offensive to me and Palin would have been wise to ask Bannon to remove the last 5-10 minutes which did nothing but offend all of us who have worked for years to elect Republicans. They pretty much inferred that the whole Republican party is corrupt and unethical.

She is not going to run.
Palin has given no signs of running and at this point I don't see it. Certainly I would like to see it just to really remake the entire race but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen.
She could and should have made the announcement Labor Day Weekend and didn’t. Everything from there on out was false hope.
We are stuck with the pathetic idiots we have and none of them worth a Damn.

Who are you trying to kid? You’ve never had a good word for Palin. If you saw The Undefeated and didn’t come away with a deep respect of how she took on the establishment, then you’re a closed-minded person. Regarding that last 10 minutes of the doc, they were important. It emphasized that both parties are full of scoundrels who only care about power, their power.

Next, you’ll be telling us the title doesn’t make sense.

It’s $hit or get off the pot time. Not time to pump DVD sales or raise awareness. I’d love to see her run and compete with the rest of the field to see how she handles it. Right now she’s a great looking, enthusiastic pundit with strongly held personal opinions - just like me. But I’m not gonna run. Is she?

She has not lead anybody on, she has stated that she was deliberating the issue. Your dissapointment that she does not run does not make her guilty of leading you on.

Take her for her word. Its her choice, and I suspect that it has a lot to do with how Cain preforms in the next ten days. I believe she wants what is best for America, its not about her.

Before I say anything else, let me state that as this point I feel sorry for Palin supporters. They've laid it all out there for a candidate who (imho) has strung them along.

We have a completely grassroots campaign without a candidate for possibly another few weeks.

Or possibly ever. If Palin doesn't get into the campaign soon, will this grassroots campaign turn to another candidate, or will all the work and effort have been wasted?

People that support Mitt Romney or Barack Obama or Chris Christie or Rick Perry, etc. … don’t understand Sarah Palin supporters. They don’t understand the deep commitment and feelings we have towards Governor Palin.

But Ron Paul supporters do, as so do Obama's 2008 supporters. I don't mean that sarcasticly, I mean it as a statement of fact. At this point, the hard core Palinistas, Paulanistas, and Obamaistas look very similar in attitude; "cult of personality" describes all three movements at this point.

UTAH: Mar 13, 2012

I don't believe the Utah date is March 13. But there is confusion as to what date it is: The Utah election code says it is October 15 (20A-9-803. Declaration of candidacy -- Filing fee -- Form.) while the Lt. Governor's office says it's January 15 (Becoming a Federal Candidate). I suppose someone could call and find out which it is. I suspect the Lt. Gov. date is correct as this past June Utah moved their primary from February 7 to June 26, 2012 (Utah Republicans Opt to Link 2012 Presidential Primary to Late June State & Local Primaries).

Just wait. Palin isn't running and when she finally lets her adherents down, there is going to be hell to pay. I expect a meltdown at C4P of epic proportions as most of her followers absolutely believe she is running and can't accept that they've been strung along all this time. Once they figure it out, things are going to get extremely ugly.

RE :"Now FR is running commercials? Can we get a T-shirt for an extra $3.99?"

I thought it was funny that they used the term Palinistas. I always believed that name was invented here.

This is not the first C4P post there that they create a visual of the 'Palinistas' being made fun of, this one said "Some have called us nutty or freaks or other names." Interesting that this narrative is being used in motivational/activist editorials.

I don’t know why they fuss on so about this movie. People have to pay to see it. Maybe it is to recover some of the money Bannon spent making it.

Why don’t they cut it down to 20 minutes, about all anyone can take of a campaign film, and put it on the internet for free.

They don’t even show a film at the convention about the presidential nominee that lasts 2 hours. Geesh

If Palin wanted to run, she should have jumped in way earlier in order to change the perception of her by people.
All this fuss about a film hasn’t worked, and it won’t because a film is not a substitute for actual competing in the flesh and blood part of a campaign.

Some here say that the debates and stuff like that is useless. Not so, they give people an idea of who these people are and they can make or break you.

I stay away from throwing words like that around loosely. But I was upset that Boehner and McConnell were not replaced as leaders in 2009, or at least 2011. They carried much baggage around with them, TARP being an example, the 2008 election loss being another. In 1993 the congressional Republican leadership was replaced. It was a good sign.

I dont know where Palin is going with this as she has not called on those three to be replaced.

Boehner, McConnell and Cantor may not be as conservative as we would like, and they might even be clueless when it comes to both strategy and tactics. But they are not corrupt by any traditional meaning of that word.

One thing that true, lifelong conservatives know deep down inside: NO politician (literally) is worth getting too excited over. Yes, some are much better than others, and some are great. Reagan was truly great. But even RR was not perfect, and conservatives know both by intuition and experience, that you have to have REALISTIC expectations from ALL politicians. Now matter how conservative a politician is, he/she is still...a politician. Yes, we have to help the better ones and we have to try to defeat every Democrat, all the time. But seriously. A cult of personality in any respect is not something that should EVER be on any conservative’s radar!

Palin let the libs in AK defeat her...

The Palin family didn't have the financial resources to handle half a million dollars in legal bills, they didn't have access to the state attorney general's office to fight those lawsuits (per Alaska law), and her legal defense fund was shut down by a court order.

But, she let the libs in Alaska defeat her....

Your naked hatred for this good woman knows no bounds.

I campaigned for Bush in 2004, and I am not offended at this. Eventually, I came to realize the whole system is corrupt, though it may have good people scattered here and there.

“A tree is known by it’s fruits.”

What are the fruits of our political system?

- debt
- war
- loss of freedom
- lies
- lack of economic growth

I could go on.

I don’t blame the Republicans and Democrats running this country.

I blame the sins of the lukewarm American Church, which CAUSES Democrats and Republicans to be corrupt.

But seriously. A cult of personality in any respect is not something that should EVER be on any conservative’s radar!

I agree, but it is for the Palin fanatics. Seriously, read C4P sometime. The place is like some sort of twisted house of Sarah worship. She can literally do no wrong with most of these people, and anyone questioning anything about her or her supposed genius (and as yet to be seen) campaign strategy is met with intense hostility and rage. It'll remind you that, sadly, people of all ideologies are capable of sliding into the cult of personality trap. You'd hope more from conservatives, but nope, human nature is what it is and even folks on our side are susceptible to it.

Some here say that the debates and stuff like that is useless. Not so, they give people an idea of who these people are and they can make or break you.

That's true for candidates who are relative unknowns outside their own states, or spheres of influence. Not so for Palin, who has 100% name recognition with voters. Her views aren't exactly a secret, either.

She hasn't missed anything by staying out of the race until now, except being associated with all of the warfare between the candidates. And the 'debates' have turned out to be little more than MSM orchestrated inquisitions. None of the presumed front runners have benefited from being involved in them, although some of the second tier candidates have.

If Palin steps into the race (and I think she will), she will have plenty of opportunities to debate the remaining contenders. If her past performances are any measure, she'll also do well in them.

They pretty much inferred that the whole Republican party is corrupt and unethical.

Well, in AK, when Sarah ran for Gov., they were. And frankly, the way McCain's folks started throwing Sarah UNDER the campaign bus, just before the election of 2008, didn't make them look any better.

I don't believe the entire Republican Party is corrupt, but frankly SOME are, and we need to clean them OUT of it. If Sarah does decide to run for President, we'll find out who those folks are, because they'll be working hard, trying to derail her efforts.

Is THIS what you mean?

I think it would be conceptually correct for us to say that folks who slide into a personality cult are not really conservatives. They may line up right on many/most of the “conservative” policy issue points of the day. But that doesn’t make one a conservative.

A conservative is fundamentally opposed to ideology, and fundamentally opposed to “let’s pretend”. So anything that gives answers before questions are asked...that is usually something that is bordering on ideology, and true conservatives have nothing to do with ideology.

(Of course all that said, that means that there aren’t a LOT of true conservatives out there in the world...and alas that would be true. But America’s Founders certainly were....and they were definitely on the lookout for cults of personality...)

Here’s the trick. SP isn’t ever going to say that she isn’t running because if she were to do so, she would be just as relevant as Dana Perino, or any other paid talking head at Fox.

As these deadlines pass, SP will start making cryptic remarks that don’t necessarily rule out a 3rd party/write-in run in attempt to leverage a speaking at the RNC. If she doesn’t get a primetime slot, expect her phantom candidacy to continue right to the end.

Palin says that she might be more influential as an independent person rather than an office holder.

She’s hasn’t had much to say lately. Is that the way someone would behave who seeks to be influential as an independent political figure?

Here’s another thought. Since her debut with McCain she’s slugged it out with formidable opposition, overcome it, and acquired millions of admirers that want her to run and will abandon her if she doesn’t. She’s worked hard to achieve this respect and influence. She’s done what very few politicians throughout our history have been able to do. Is she going allow this great accomplishment to serve no purpoase other than her celebrity?

She’s a rare individual. She’s a born leader. That’s her history. What’s she going to do now? Turn herself into another type of person? Lose the stature and the following she’s worked so hard to build? Abandon the playing field that she loves and has been so successful on and move to the sidelines as an analyst or commentator?

Has the fire in her belly turned out to be indigestion, or gone out?

Here’s another sign of leadership assuming she’s going to run. No one on her team has breathed a word about what’s going to happen. How does she maintain that level of discipline? Compare that the to McCain campaign.

The truth of her recent words is being borne out, namely, that “the field is not set”. Most of the announced candidates were at one point riding high, and then knocked back as their ideas and past actions were exposed to criticism. What would Sarah Palin have gained by announcing earlier?

Is she going to let the frustration among some of her followers build and then give them a final smack by moving to the sidelines. Doesn’t sound like Sarah Palin to me.
