Can we quit beating the Dead Horse??????????????
She is not going to run.
Palin has given no signs of running and at this point I don't see it. Certainly I would like to see it just to really remake the entire race but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen.
She could and should have made the announcement Labor Day Weekend and didn’t. Everything from there on out was false hope.
We are stuck with the pathetic idiots we have and none of them worth a Damn.

Why Labor Day weekend, because Tokyo Rove said so?

That should have been a clear giveaway that she should NOT have declared back then.

Palin says that she might be more influential as an independent person rather than an office holder.

She’s hasn’t had much to say lately. Is that the way someone would behave who seeks to be influential as an independent political figure?

Here’s another thought. Since her debut with McCain she’s slugged it out with formidable opposition, overcome it, and acquired millions of admirers that want her to run and will abandon her if she doesn’t. She’s worked hard to achieve this respect and influence. She’s done what very few politicians throughout our history have been able to do. Is she going allow this great accomplishment to serve no purpoase other than her celebrity?

She’s a rare individual. She’s a born leader. That’s her history. What’s she going to do now? Turn herself into another type of person? Lose the stature and the following she’s worked so hard to build? Abandon the playing field that she loves and has been so successful on and move to the sidelines as an analyst or commentator?

Has the fire in her belly turned out to be indigestion, or gone out?

Here’s another sign of leadership assuming she’s going to run. No one on her team has breathed a word about what’s going to happen. How does she maintain that level of discipline? Compare that the to McCain campaign.

The truth of her recent words is being borne out, namely, that “the field is not set”. Most of the announced candidates were at one point riding high, and then knocked back as their ideas and past actions were exposed to criticism. What would Sarah Palin have gained by announcing earlier?

Is she going to let the frustration among some of her followers build and then give them a final smack by moving to the sidelines. Doesn’t sound like Sarah Palin to me.

Who said she should declare by Labor Day weekend? It wasn’t her because she’s been very vague (holding her cards close as she says) and has only given a September-October time frame.
