What decorum?
That went out as soon as TOTUS spoke.

Ha, good 'ol AP...twisting the story, once again....
...voters were anxious and Congress' bickering had angered large majorities of them.
Wrong! Voters are only "angered" by Congress' seeming agreement to allow further destruction of this great nation.
Good for Reps. Landry AND Joe Wilson.

That’s a pretty pathetic commentary on the bias of the media that a Congressman must stoop to holding up a sign at a speech by the President in order to get his message out.
To: EBH
Underpinning the American economy is access to reliable, cheap, abundant energy in all forms. It is needed to grow food, manufacture products, get people to work, heat and cool homes, run the internet, and move goods. Obama did not mention energy once in his speech, you could look it up.
A rational energy policy would include:
1) An aggressive drilling program including the Gulf of Mexico and ANWAR.
2) Developement of shale resources.
3) Approval of the Keystone pipeline.
I believe all of these things are within the authority of the president. Implementing a program like this would create jobs immediately and help eliminate uncertainty in the energy sector. Obama would have none of it.
The fact that Obama did not even give lip service to energy indicates that he has no idea what actually makes an economy run. Either that or he doesn’t care. There will be no economic expansion until he is gone.

Joe Wilson represents the congressional district next to mine and I can state with supreme authority and confidence that his brave and prescient outburst of fact during the SOTU, aka “YOU LIE!!!” not only made him a statewide (and national in all probability) hero but the most unbeatable incumbent I know of.
It ain't bad form if it's a truth that must be told.

And what “decorum” has our hyper partisan Demagogue-In-Chief ever show in his relentless desperate attempts to blame everyone else for the complete failure of his economic policies?

From now until the election, there will likely be a direct pipeline between the Chicago-based AstroTurf Factory (run by Axelrod, assisted by Gibbs) to the President's teleprompter. If it is on the 'prompter, it was probably typed up in the AstroTurf Factory in Chicago.
I think this speech, more campaign than policy, was hatched in Chicago.
"Pass this bill now" is as fanciful and mythical statement as the command to "Milk this Unicorn Now". Neither exist.

There was no decorum.
Decorum does not DEMAND to speak before a joint session of congress.
Decorum waits for an invitation. Decorum does not DEMAND a time and date.
Decorum waits for a negotiated schedule.
Decorum does not DEMAND a co-equal branch acquiesce to your whims.
Obama knows nothing of decorum. He is in utter contempt of it. Whether it's dressing down SCOTUS in a State of the Union or using a joint-session for a campaign speech.
He has debased the our systems of government. He's dragged us all through the gutter with his Chicago mob tactics and polarized this nation more than anyone since Nixon.
