I said this because Perry was convinced by Rove to join the GOP and run for Secretary of Agriculture.

What is wrong with these people...it was NEVER an abrupt halt...it was carefully planned out by the Palins'... when I saw this headline I though oh please...another headline working on a negative spin on her ending the Bus Tour and returning to Alaska because of the kids starting school...geezzz...you plan ahead for the start of the school year when you have school aged kids...it is that simple nothing abrupt about that...

I would personally like to see Sarah run for the Senate from Alaska, and then run for President in the future.

2nd is Perry, the more Palin waivers the more steady Perry looks.
George W. successfully ran as both a fiscal/social conservative and someone with experience. Things turned out quite different than he led on.I'll never forget when Rush Limbaugh told us/his listeners that he met GW and then assured us he (GW) was conservative...Hey, I still love you anyway Rush
So far every President from Texas has been a huge negative in the end.
