It's all-but official; Becky Mansour apparently feels that this is the last couple weeks of sanity for her and Team Palin for the next year-plus.

Sarah will now go and re-charge, put the finishing touches on a few international policy items, and then it's countdown to launch on September 3rd.

This is in perfect accord with all of the "gear-up-the-troops" hints she's been dropping for the last several weeks. In the TEA Party Tribune piece "Sarah Inches Closer," http://www.teapartytribune.com/2011/07/13/sarah-inches-closer/ the author noted that Sarah told Sean Hannity that "...anyone who has a serious intention to win the White House will realistically have to be 'in' by August-September."

Sounds alot like "September 3rd" to me. Pull those seatbelts tight, kiddees... keep your arms and legs inside the ride and remain seated; this sumbitch 'bout to explode.

Do you actually think that Sarah Palin is like that? That it’s all about comfort and ease for her? Then you don’t know Palin a single bit!!

Read her book! Look at what she is doing now, if she really want comfort she would have disappeared a long time ago maybe even after the media accused her complicit in murder in the Gabriella Gifford shooting in AZ! The only ones who doubt what she is about to do is ignorant of her untraditional ways or is not paying attention to all that has been going on that the MSM isn’t telling you

And Rove detests Sarah Palin, which is a plus for Palin in my book.

Ditto!

Sarah Palin has his numBer and it's "DIAL a RINO"

“Karl Rove personally took Rick Perry and switched him to Republican from Democrat and ran his first statewide campaign, for Agriculture Commissioner.

Best to vote for anyone but Perry.”

Oh this is great logic. Let’s see, Karl Rove ran a campaign for Perry a couple decades ago, but they have been adversaries for the past decade, including when Rove, Bush and Co backed KBH in her 2010 run to unseat Perry as governor. Then even more recently, Rove is out dissing Perry on FNC.

Okay, yeah you’re right, that definitely tells me we gotta support anybody but Perry. So if it comes down to Perry vs Obama in the general,I guess we better stick with Obama, cause with these Rove ties from a couple decades ago, you just don’t know what you’ll be getting...

“Perry has a 10+ record that can easily be checked out.”

Is that on a scale of 1 to 100?

Why do you assume Palin puts her own personal needs and desires ahead of things like serving her country?

Just a hunch, I guess.

April 15, 2010: Sarah Palin income 12 million dollars since leaving office

Palin and Gosselin in the Mother of All Reality Shows

Palin will not even sign her own books for one of her supporters unless that supporter dishes out even more money to buy Bristol's book too.

Sarah Palin was at the Mall of America (largest mall in the U.S.) on June 29, 2011 along with Bristol, for a book signing and the conduct was very telling.

Here were the rules laid down for the book signing:

Bristol Palin with Special Guest Sarah Palin Book Signing Wednesday, June 29, 2011 5 p.m. Rotunda

Look at Rule Number 4.

"4. You must have a copy of “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far” in order to purchase a copy of “America by Heart” and/or “Going Rogue” signed by Sarah Palin."

In order words, if a potential Palin voter wanted to purchase a Sarah Palin book and have it signed, Sarah Palin would refuse to sign it unless that individual also bought a copy of Bristol's book describing losing her virginity in a drunken coed camping trip.

No additional money for Bristol's book = No Sarah autograph on Sarah's own book.

That is not the behavior of an individual that is trying to court voters.

That is the behavior of a family that is cashing in and trying to maximize their profit.

Politicians who are truly running and truly want to endear themselves to as many voters as possible do everything they can to reach out and please as many voters as possible.

The Palins, however, do everything they can to maximize the income. .... Even refusing to sign a Sarah Palin book unless money is spent on Bristol.

Good thought, but if he signs up it could just be a diversion. Besides, Todd does not have to be with her 24/7 at that point of the campaign.

Also, him racing would keep talk centered around her/what she was doing at the time. There are all maner of advantages to him running in it or just signing up.

Have a look through Robert Greene’s 48 laws of power. Pretty eye opening experience.

This isn’t directed at you personally, but people in general who share your feeling:

The media and the imagination of people create the aura that Palin is wavering, procrastinating etc over running.

Go to the source, read what she has said she will do. She has done “exactly that” so far. She previously said ‘a couple months’ and ‘around September’. “WE” the public said Sept. 3 when ‘around’ could easily mean October/November (months which are in fact ‘around September’. It does not set in stone the first 3 days of September.

All I’m saying here is no one should jump to conclusions based on ‘interpreting’ generalized comments. No smartassery on my part is intended.

Very true. I’m a political junkie and keep on top of things... but in one day of looking into Perry’s record on actual issues, he is the polar opposite of what I THOUGHT I knew about what he was. People really need to do their own homework on that guy. I so-far agree with the comment some have made to a point. He’s GWB Term 3. Except that he’s not nearly as good. Interpret that how you will.

No, the reason why Perry is the ONLY Republican I would think of not voting for in NOVEMBER, is not simply the fact that he’s a Karl Rove Candidate. (Once a Karl Rove Candidate, always a Karl Rove Candidate).

It’s that he’s a Globalist RINO (See Bilderberg, Trans-texas Corridor, Gardasil on Globalism). Romney is an ordinary RINO. About half the field are Ordinary RINOs. We get them every time. But Perry is a special type of RINO, the worst type of RINO, the Globalist RINO.

If there was a currency collapse, would Rick Perry go along with a one world currency scheme? Nothing in his record indicates he’d be against it. I would think that Democrats and Republicans alike would be against it. It’s takes a Globalist (and actual pedigreed Globalists are rare) to be for that. Would Rick Perry give thousands of US acres to the Chinese and allow the Chinese to self govern that area? Because we owe the Chinese money? Instead of using one of many less harmful methods?

The arguments that people use for Perry could be used for Buddy Roemer.

If Buddy Roemer was the nominee, would you vote for him? Who cares - you’re trying to convince us that Buddy Roemer is better than good candidates, or at least candidates that don’t completely suck.

Poly, do you even believe in American exceptionalism and the freedom of an American to achieve things they set out to do? Why do you begrudge her the ability to leverage ANYTHING she can legally, and ethically?

And did you EVER stop to think that someone has to PAY for things? You can get cash from the GOP and big donors right off the bat and then be shackled to their orders, or EARN IT yourself and do the voodoo that youdoo without strings attached and debts owed.

You are a troll. And you are far from a smart one.

Perry is the worst.

I’ve been here on Free Republic a while - most here have.

Rick Perry has never been well liked here. He was mentioned here the most in terms of trans texas corridor and gardasil. Many threads about those issues, everyone against Perry. And 4 years ago, he attends Bilderberg. It was easy to see, then, that he was terrible, he was the candidate of the global elites, and that he would likely run for President, and he would be pushed hard by the global elites.

It was a way make sure that Bristol’s feelings weren’t hurt.

There would be a chance that no one would want Bristol’s book and everyone would mob Sarah, etc etc.

The system that they set up did accomplish that.
