The prosecution should have sought an appropriate punishment for a mother who did a rather silly thing by trying to chlorofom her child for a night’s rest.

A RATHER SILLY THING????

Where’s the “Star Chamber” when you need it?

The first tiny little snigger I've had all day.

WHAAAT?

Because you saw the “look in her eyes”? Maybe she WAS a lousy mother, but there was NO EVIDENCE for that..and evidence against that theory.

I am not dfending Casey, just saying how we may FEEL about her, is NOT evidence.

I think I’m done with this, time to move on. If you think justice was achieved today, well I guess your opinion and mine differ. Good evening.

I disagree with you about the verdict, but I agree with you completely about the hypocrisy of those who are outraged by this verdict yet support abortion rights.

Screw you and your as homonym bullcrap.

The defense only gave one explanation for the little girls death

Do you understand law and the Constitution?

The defense has no burden, the prosecution does.

THE PROSECUTION FAILED TO MEET THEIR BURDEN

There was no evidence to support murder let alone who committed it.

You can take your snide, juvenile little insults and cram them sideways and deep.

I also find most Libertatians are ok with the existence of nambla in a philosophical sense.

Speaking of jack wagons......if the shoe fits....jerk.

I keep asking that but no one will answer.

Well, then we'll have to just keep asking, won't we?

After all, it is the big question...hmmm?

“Beyond a reasonable doubt” does not mean “100% certain.”

I understand and agree. I suspect if the prosecution could have made the jury 95% or 99% sure there was a murder, they might have been more willing to convict the mother.

But if you were on a jury and felt the state had established with about 70% certainty that the child had been murdered and not killed accidentally, would you vote to convict? Did you read the numbers I put out there in my original post in this thread?

Kimberly Guilfoyle just said on O’Reilly that it was unethical what Baez did by throwing out drowning in opening statements without an ounce of evidence. It is already out there.

As a matter of fact, the alternate juror who called in said that is what happened to Caylee in their opinion WITHOUT one ounce of evidence. Unethical sleaze worked!

You were not there. I wasn’t there.

I did not serve on that jury. I don’t quarterback a jury.
I may not like their verdict...but it is their verdict, based on their BEING THERE....and watching everything. ...and everyone.

No tape fairies needed.

and even IF I saw it or assessed the evidence differently, I support them as a jury.

You are way too personally invested in this case to make or absorb a rational argument.

I may be many things, but irrational is not one of them. Some care more about justice than others.

It's very obvious just by reading this thread.

Jesse Grund, Casey’s ex- fiancé says he is outraged and angry with the defense that won at all cost! It was never about the truth.

It’s a circumstantial case! I’m absolutely sick of your kind of excuse! Circumstantial means you HAVE to use Common Sense, if that even exists in this country any longer! It doesn’t mean you have to have prove what happened. I’m so pissed off with views like yours. There was a preponderance of circumstanlial evidense in this case, much, much, more than the evidense that sent Scott Peterson to death row.

Yes, I do have feelings, and my feelings tell me that Casey was mean to the little girl when people weren’t looking. She was detached from her little girl despite the good show she put in front of cameras, the little girl was abused by the mother long before she was murdered, and yes, it is because of the look in the little girls eyes. No, you can’t go after people for that, unless there is evidence, but people can’t deny what they see either. Yes, the mother was abusive, long before she was a killer. I can’t help it, but that’s how I see it. You don’t like it and you don’t have to.

A bunch of idiots who believed the Bamboolzing Bozo’s lies.

Your ignorance of our system is rather evident.

The prosecution failed to meet its burden, blame the inept prosecutors.

Was this a just and true verdict?

Probably not but it was in the eyes of the law>

We have a judicial system that carries many weights, I hope you support its premise.

Some care more about justice than others.

THAT'S THE TICKET!!!

those of us who don't agree with you...we don't care as much about justice! It's the argument to end them all.
