[Link only]Sarah Palin defends her take on Paul Revere's ride
Isn’t it weird which stories the media focuses all its attention on?
Born February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, ID (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)
Parents were
Charles R Heath, born in ID
Sarah Sheeran, born in WI
Both parents were US Citizens at the time of her birth (Meets the Jus Sanguinis Requirement)
Sarah Palin is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN
Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama isn't!

Just did a quick google search. The ratio of news reports this morning on her Paul Revere comment to reports on her substantive comments on the economy is about 3-1 so far.
The MSM is just executing their plan.
first time I heard what she said in her own words......he did warn Americans, but he also warned the Britts when they caught him that Americans were prepared to fight them for their rights.....which is what she has been rallying Americans to do for the last few years....it all fits if one has been listening to her message.....I think the MSM isn’t listening and using their reasoning skills.....they think they have her against the ropes on this. I don’t see it myself.
Palin’s secondary purpose with her tour has been to rattle the MSM and she has proved to be able to play them like a fiddle.
I smell rope-a-dope. She’s done this before. She knows what the LSM & the BITB (Boys in the Bus) think of her and she’s using it against them, taking advantage of popular misconceptions, to intentionally expose their ignorance. Aka “Political Judo.”
A not-particulary politically aware young woman I know, when told that Yes, Revere did indeed warn the British too, actually said, “Well, it doesn’t matter, she’s still an idiot!”
The truth no longer matters in this media-centric world in which we now live, just the narrative. And the narrative on Sarah Palin was written by Tina Fey, long ago.
Sorry, but she sounded dumber than a post with that answer, and her attempt to clarify it just made it worse. Sarah Palin is sometimes her own worst political enemy.
Rope-a-dope indeed. MSM is the dope. . . . . .
+1
Yeah. It seemed kind of weird to me that she only spoke for 15 seconds that day.
What did she do? Walk in the front door of The Old North Church, speak that one sentence and then walk out the back door and not speak for the rest of the day?
while the media don’t use their reasoning skills......those that follow them don’t even remember what they are. I am not surprised in the least, but if she were to vote she would only vote dem party line anyway....no loss. independents attempt to reason and decide between the parties...they will be the deciding factor.
Just another reason I hope I don’t have to vote for Palin. I have a direct ancestor who heeded the alarm call of 04/18/1775, and I bet he’s rolling in his grave knowing the best candidate running 235 years later has this take on the birth of our country.
I hAd a relative tell me that Revere was a traitor for telling the Btritish that the colonists were ready for them at Concord. He then said Palin was advocating the same as a traitor, therefore, she, the quitter was not fit to lead our military. It was hard to follow the evolving reasons why she’s bad and dems are good.
More than likely your ancestor will be rolling in his grave that his descendant in 2011 just embarrassed what he did that day by still getting it wrong -sheesh!!!!!
By being in SAR...sure punk!!!!
OK so I search (for a few mins) Wall builders and a few other sites to prove she is correct and post it and so far I am not finding anything...will keep looking (if I do not get pulled away to something else), if any one has info to back it up, please post a link for me...
“Sorry, but she sounded dumber than a post with that answer”
Only to people who don’t know the actual history. Which sadly is probably the vast majority of the electorate...
How awful, though, that she took the bait! If someone had asked me if I knew who Paul Revere was, I would’ve said something childish and snarky, and maybe that was the pitfall she was trying to avoid. I don’t know what the right way to handle it would’ve been, but validating such a provocation is not the way to go.
