Running for president is not for the faint-hearted. The level of personal scrutiny is intense, the financial demands daunting, and the chance of winning iffy against a well-funded incumbent.

Listening to Eleanor Clift is not for the faint-hearted, either. Forget it!

I’m not so sure that Palin’s going to enter the race.

She might, but I am on record as saying that she will not run in 2012 and I still think that.

I don’t think she will either. I’m still sticking with Bachmann and Cain at this point.

I have no idea what Sarah is thinking about the 2012 Presidential election but if her strategy is to hold back and let the spotlight shine on the other candidates so that they sink or swim on their own appeal then things are working out well for her so far.

of the serious possibilities it is only Romney or Palin.

I don’t see palin running. She is a rally leader but not showing anything about leading the parade.

where are her people? her exploration committee? her money fund raisers?

Romney would follow the practice of the “runner up getting the spot.”

the other candidates are just MSM filler.

For any Republican eyeing the primaries, the man to beat is Mitt Romney,

Yeah, Eleanor, sure!

I looked through the whole article, to see if Sarah Palin's name was mentioned at all. Sure enough, once, in a subordinate clause, as someone who has withdrawn from the race and is running "a cottage industry."

I didn't realize Eleanor Clift was still with us. Or maybe I was thinking of Eleanor Roosevelt.

I would add Mitch Daniels to that list should he decide to formally jump in.

The strategy is to keep Ubama, state-run media and the GOP ruling-class RINOs confused and off-balance, like they're waiting to see what she is going to do.

Seems to be working.

Palin/Cain would send Democrats and the media in to an absolute orgy of misogyny and racial hatred.

Of course, it won’t be misogyny and Racial Hatred when DEMOCRATS DO IT, thogh.

I am afraid if Sarah does not run we will lose in 2012. I know people claim that a tree stump could run against Obama and win but that is just not realistic. I think it MUST be Sarah. I love Bachmann and would love her to run but I just don’t know if she is ready. Why doesn’t she run for Governor first. Cain....The pizza man? No experience....I don’t think so. We made that mistake in 2008 and nobody will tolerate it again.

“...where are her people? her exploration committee? her money fund raisers?”

Maybe she's just waiting for the best time to start spending her resources. There is still time to bide and see what happens with prospective candidates... AND something new and crazy goes on every day! Right?
