Not every woman who gets raped dresses provacatively. Nuns in full habit, senior citizens, children get raped. Do they all dress like they are “asking for it”?

No but if you dress like a slut, let guys buy you drinks, flirt, bump and grind, then get into the guys car, if you don’t expect to have sex, don’t scream rape.

You have missed the point.

I doubt any woman is raped because of her dress, no matter what the rapist says.
That said, I have no respect for those of my sisters who dress provacatively as if to say “lookee here what I’ve got”.
I have seen numerous woman on television programs talking about “showing off the girls” as if she is the only woman in the world with breasts.
I taught my daughters that what a man does not see is more alluring than letting it all hangout. I wish I could say they were following that advice. Sigh.

Certainly, nobody *deserves* to be raped, regardless of how they are dressed, and the culpability for such acts is purely on the part of the aggressor. Having said that, there are behaviors that will make one a more or less inviting target to a predator.

Take for example a person who posts photos of their house, their home address and vacation plans on Facebook. The make no arrangements to have their property checked while away, and top it all off by leaving their housedoors unlocked. Certainly they are well within their rights to do all of those things.

Now, the neighbor at an adjacent property has a secure fence, an alarm system, NRA stickers on every vehicle in the parking lot, and a number of large, well-chewed bones visibly left in the yard by the two Dobermans.

Neither property owner *deserves* to be robbed, but wouldn't you say that one would be more likely to be, and in fact made themselves so?
