Lessons from Frank Bailey's Tell-All Sarah Palin Book [zotworthy leftist garbage]
U.S.News & World Report ^ | 2/25/11 | Susan Milligan

Posted on 02/26/2011 11:48:02 AM PST by FTJM

What have we learned recently from a couple of embarrassing disclosures recently involving elected officials?

Put down the BlackBerry. Move gently away from the keyboard. At least, for heaven’s sake, think before you hit “send.”

Former Rep. Chris Lee learned this when a woman decided to forward to a gossip website messages and a shirtless photo the married former congressman had sent. The motivations of the woman, who cowardly remained anonymous until the Washington Post outed her, were overshadowed by the impact on the congressman, who quickly resigned.

And now we have Sarah Palin, the subject of a gossipy tell-all book in the works by a former aide, Frank Bailey. The Daily Beast obtained a manuscript of the book, which relies partly on E-mails Bailey exchanged with Palin. One can’t deny that the E-mails are revealing--including the one in which Palin describes her role in politics as a “divine calling.” But revealing other private matters, such as an E-mail in which Palin allegedly alludes to some marital troubles, reflects real indiscretion from someone who supposedly had Palin’s trust. [See photos of Palin and her family.]

By the way, the marital troubles are discussed in an E-mail in which Palin tells Bailey she thought her husband was working behind her back on the Troopergate matter. “We’re not like other couples, Frank. We don’t talk,” Palin reportedly wrote to Bailey (cue laughter from longtime couples at the idea that not talking makes the Palins unique). [See a roundup of political cartoons on Palin.]

I kind of like anti-Palin posts...
her defenders far outnumber her critics here and their numbers keep increasing.
Her defenders tend to be more clever, literate and convincing and thus add to her support.
I am sure when Sarah Palin reads FR (and you know they ALL do)she gets many more smiles and giggles than snorts and harrumphs.

I read that Bailey and McGinnis were having a cat fight about their respective Palin-bashing books. I suggest injecting them with Viagra and locking them in a steel cage. That should settle it.

I never read it and I don’t plan on it. I don’t care what he writes.

Maybe you should have read the story before you started making threats in JimRob’s name. The author is sneering at Bailey’s Palin-bashing trivia.

Five kids? They are very busy people! Who wants to talk?

They seem to provide a great deal of support for each other.

Actually, I think most who support Palin are very clean and articulate. Just to make you cringe: I always refer to her as the Divine Sarah.

I may not be Pain’s biggest fan, but sleaze-balls write these tell-all books. This one will betray a trust that most of the others do.

So let’s just boil it down to the only sure-fire message this is bound to convey. “SHOW ME THE MONEY!”

Not just Palin, but all trusting people deserve better. If it’s not criminal in nature, STFU.

This particular story has so many holes in it and falsehood that Jim had it pulled as being ridiculous - the ones posting it were PDSers and he warned them about posting such trash, this story from the U.S. World report isn’t as bad but this joker is a known PDSer

Make me “cringe”? More like make me laugh.

You worship who you like, that’s just fine. I will keep an open mind and save my choices for when the election season actually gets started. There is way too much time still ahead than to be maintaining childish political arguments this early in the game. I have better things to worry about.

This is only just the beginning. I imagine that the MSM and all the tabloid/SNL skits will be fully saturated with similar trash.

This is why the country has slipped so far into the pit.

My Divine Sarah reference always upsets people - google the reference - it has nothing to do with worship.

I hope Sarah makes a run for president and if she doesn’t, well, I’ll have to support another candidate...maybe. But I will always admire her beauty and charisma. She’s got it in spades.

I did a quick scan of his previous posts and he does appear to be an anti-Palin plant—probably another Mittbot.
And his 2008 appearance is at least circumstantial evidence of this.
He seems to be a solid candidate for the Zot so your righteous umbrage is understandable.

Sarah Palin is the real McCoy, and that alone is enough to send earthquake-like shudders through the phony world of politics, to terminate in the heart of the crookedest, slimiest, most evil generation of politicians this world has ever seen, the Twenty-First Century Democrats and their sycophants, the mainstream media, college professors, teachers’ unions, Hollywood and the RINOs!

You can tell they think she is their chief enemy, because she is their chief target.

How old are you, PSYCHO-FREEP? I ask because you seem to have chosen a particularly childish screen name and yet get offended when people comment on it.

Well hopefully,

The general public will learn to see things the way you do. But at this point it really doesn’t matter. we won’t have a clear picture for at least another year. Much can and will happen between now and then.

Seriously, do you think people will sit out the election if Sarah Palin is not nominated? I doubt it; I do think Freepers will sit it out if it’s Romney. He’s just soooooooo boring.
