Hi, Grandpa Dave -
Thanks for such a great run down of this killer.
The way I see the story of the week is this is a manifestation of what I was fearing and expounding on eight or so years ago for months - that if we dont squash terrorism as a tool in political discourse we will revert to a civilization of city states and walled cities... where people will associate only with those who they know well, and do their best to stay out of contact with everyone else.
What bugs me most about the MTP panel just aired here is that not a single one of these Dems has any clue that the way they jammed bills through into legislation during the last years despite having so much public opposition to much of it has created the lack of civility. Backroom deals and parliamentary tricks do not build trust in government. Perhaps they should take to heart that the American people currently rate Congress as low as it has ever been for such reasons. The blame the volatile atmosphere on everyone outside the Congress, when in fact it is due to themselves.
Glenn Beck has been warning about this (worrying about violence) and asking people to pray for the country for nearly a year now... again he has been very ahead of the curve.

Grandma will tell you. It means jack booted thug.
And I bet you your grandma never used the abbreviation JBT because she used English as it was meant to be not as a hip form of social snobbery.
Sorry to be so harsh but using abbreviations without defining those abbreviations will only confuse and irritate people who are not privy to your particular definition. For all I (we) know, you could have meant "Just Being Thoughtful", or "Jolly Big Thing" or any number of things.
Speak and write English properly and you will communicate more easily - as well as being seen as a person of greater intellect and sophistication.

Oh and, dearling, I never used the term. Another poster did. I only clarified what it meant. And, before you lecture others? You might want to stop using
BOLD and shouting at people.
Have a good evening dear.
