Anyone else experience this? Within a minute of Fox & Friends coming on the air at 5 am CST on DIRECTV Thursday morning, the channel was replaced with the Ci Channel (never heard of it) followed by a "technical difficulty" message from DIRECTV. Interesting timing/coincidence in light of suspected Wikileaks-related attacks on MasterCard, etc. I'm verklempt; discuss.
....ask your provider to explain, or better yet ask them when they got their “instructions” from the FCC.
Did you try the non-HD channel?
HD only here. South Ga.
Yes. Says they’re having technical difficulties and to switch back to the non-HD channel until they get it fixed.
this to shall pass
Same thing here in New Orleans. That CI Blacken Corpse was GROSS!
All of these cable services are about as reliable as blood hounds in heat. ;-)
TV was fine,,,
Just a ‘test’ from the friendly folks at Federal Communist Communications...

Funny, isn’t it, that the channels that you never watch never have “technical difficulties”.

I don’t doubt anything these days...
“We need a way to communicate and connect if they plan widespread disruptions....”
I’d feel a lot better if I knew there was a ‘Plan B’ for Free Republic, should we be more than temporarily disrupted. Anyone?

There are couple of alt/freeper sites out there, don’t have the links handy.
Why are you looking for an alternative “entertainment” when we should be lighting torches and taking up pitchforks?
Seriously, if the left takes down our communications then the jig is up. Hop in your jeep and either head for DC with your cammo or head for your bugout location. It’s “the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine”
“Had this been an actual alert, you would have been instructed to turn to an emergency broadcasting station in your area. This is only a test.
We now return to your regularly scheduled programing.
This was only a test.”
“Had this been an actual emergency, you would have been instructed to dig mass graves and throw yourselves into them. Keep a shovel handy. That is all.”
shovel ready project?
Whenever I see a picture of those two, I’m left wondering if Ringling Bros. isn’t missing a few employees.
MSNBC was out also...
There is a Free Republic group at
>> the channels that you never watch never have technical difficulties. <<
Yeah, I’m constantly noticing the same phenomenon. And ditto for the radio stations I’ve never listened to. They’re always on the air.
'FOX Channel knocked out on DIRECTV'
Maybe 'Johnny' is at it again.....
[Gratuitous 'Airplane' ref /off]
Lotsa meteor shower activity this month. Just a meteor that interrupted the beam from the uplink station to the Clarke belt?
(Or maybe it was Santa’s sleigh out on a test run?)
Yep, happened to me also.
If a Digital channel in the forest goes down and no one is watching....
....does anyone post on the internet about it?
When our kids were younger they called that TBN woman the “Poodle Lady”. We thought that was a good name for her since she does indeed look like a groomed poodle.
You mean like this?

Enough of these ironic comments for this morning! My hemachromatosis is acting up!
Lieber verklempt, als verkakkt. ;^0
