Republicans have a problem. The most-talked-about figure in the GOP is a reality show star who cannot be elected. And yet the same leaders who fret that Sarah Palin could devastate their party in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private.
Enough. Its time for the GOP to man up.
Everybody knows that Palin is a busy woman. The former half-term governor of Alaska stays so busy these days that one wonders how this mother of five manages to juggle her new reality show, follow her eldest daughters dancing career and launch her latest frenetic book tour while still finding the time to insult a slew of revered presidents and first ladies.
Youve got to admit hers is a breathtaking high-wire act.
What man or mouse with a fully functioning human brain and a résumé as thin as Palins would flirt with a presidential run? It makes the political biography of Barack Obama look more like Winston Churchills, despite the fact that the 44th president breezed into the Oval Office as little more than a glorified state senator.
Still, Palin is undeterred, charging ahead maniacally while declaring her intention to run for the top office in the land if nobody else will. Adding audacity to this dopey dream is that Palin cant stop herself from taking swings at Republican giants. In the past month alone, she has mocked Ronald Reagans credentials, dismissed George H.W. and Barbara Bush as arrogant blue bloods and blamed George W. Bush for wrecking the economy.
Wow. Thatll win em over in Iowa.
One can only guess what comes next on Palins bizarre road show. Maybe the publishing worlds favorite reality star can keep drawing attention and selling billions of books by spitting on John Waynes grave...

Um, I was talking about Joe, not you Vet ggg.
That’s because they have more in common with Obama.
It might have had something to do with the dead girl found in his office.
Or who your “inside” conservative sources are.
Rush said it best: (after Joe’s criticism on Rush’s sound bite on Obama - “I hope he fails”.)
RUSH: Okay, four words to translate that sound bite from Joe Scarborough: “I work for MSNBC.” I can offer more words if you want, but that sound bite translated, “I work for MSNBC. I have to keep my job. I make really good money now, more than I made in Congress. My bosses are really liberal, and my bosses hope I fail. I am living on their good graces so I have to kiss their butt. I have to fit in. It’s a vicious job, but I need it. Therefore, I pray for Barack Obama.”
Can this braying jackass please just go away? His 15 minutes were up long ago. Or is he looking for a job as cabana boy for Obama when they are both unemployed?
> If you nominated me to be your vice-presidential running mate on the ticket of one of the two national parties and I didn’t endorse you in a senate run two years later, what would you call me?
Right on, 2DV!
His colleagues are Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and Ed Schultz. You know, the company you keep ...
>>But I AM sure that Joe is not anyone whose opinion I value.<<
I value Joe’s opinion about as much as I do a Muslums LEFT hand. The have the same smell.
True.
The subtitle of this article was “Lean Forward.”
I forgot the socialist Lawrence O’Donnell.
Agreed.
>>I didnt read the article but Palin isnt what we need. Her name should be forever tied to McCain and his win over Hayworth.<<
That is what got her name recognized around the world. Name recognition good or bad is worth millions of dollars.
Tell me the name of another possible candidate that is a true Christian, intelligent, honest, good looking (man or woman)has a background connected to small business, gathers in the respect and trust of millions of American mothers, is a solid supporter of the Constitution especially the 2nd Amendment.
“Barack Obama look more like Winston Churchills, despite the fact that the 44th president breezed into the Oval Office as little more than a glorified state senator. “
NOW THEY TELL US.
I’d like to see more and more liberals use this gambit.
“Palin is not experienced enough, just like Obama, and we know it’s a mistake because see how much we screwed up with Obama.”
Joe Scarborough being around Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow does number on him. Never liked him, along with PMSNBC.
LOL that monument of stupidity Mika. I could not have said it better myself.
What statement of hers is he spinning like a top here?
When Karl Rove said her “reality” show made her seem less presidential, she said something like “wasn’t Ronald Reagan an actor?” or words to that effect.
‘Republicans have a problem. The most-talked-about figure in the GOP is a reality show star who cannot be elected. And yet the same leaders who fret that Sarah Palin could devastate their party in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private. ‘
Republicans have a problem. The most-talked-about figure in the GOP is a (B grade actor who’s last movie featured a Chimp) who cannot be elected. And yet the same leaders who fret that (Ronald Reagan) could devastate their party in (1980) are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private.
My point is we’ve seen this before, and I’m not surprised Scarborough is too busy navel gazing and groveling before his masters at MSNBC to realize he just repeated almost word for word what was said about Reagan in 1977 - 1979.
Now, I”m not saying ‘Palin is Reagan 2.0’ here. What I am saying is the past six decades have been repleat with ‘conservtives are stupid’ type columns that history has shown were simply shallow, vanity based attacks on the author’s ‘betters’.
Its obvious Palin will in fact run for President in 2012. What should be obvious, but isn’t because she frightens clowns like Joey, is that its not TIME to take on each other. We have a long way to go before the 2012 primary cycle. THEN let the inter party games begin.
Til then, there is only one ‘goal’. Minimize the damage the current administration does to this great nation. All else is secondary.
They’re all so busy raggin’ on Sarah. Why aren’t they calling for Hillary’s resignation. Everything, everywhere is falling apart and the media dare not question anything this administration does. It’s truly sickening. When this country collapses — financially, socially and physically — obama’s mess cleaners in the media will have no one to blame but themselves.
