MUST SEE video: Ted Poe (R-TX) ties Michael Chertoff to TSA abuse
YouTube ^ | 11/16/10 | Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) House Floor Speech

Posted on 11/17/2010 6:59:45 PM PST by Do Not Make Fun Of His Ears

Rep. Ted Poe took to the House floor yesterday to accuse former homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff from gaining financially by selling full-body scanners.

Full transcript of video:

"Mr. Speaker, a trip to the airport these days leaves Americans with embarrassing choices. Law-abiding citizens can bare it all through a peekaboo body scanner–or they can get groped in a pat-down search by a Federal employee.

Now that’s a real choice.

There is no evidence these new body scanners make us more secure. But there is evidence that former Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff made money hawking these full body scanners.

The underwear bomber tried to blow up a plane over Detroit last Christmas. Shortly thereafter, Chertoff went on a media tour promoting the full body scanners.

This former Homeland Security chief told everyone we had to have the full body scanners at airports to be safe. Too bad he didn’t disclose he was getting paid to sell these intrusive devices. Isn’t that lovely?

Meanwhile, the populace is giving up more rights in the name of alleged security. These body scanners are a violation of the Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures.

There must be a better way to have security at airports than taking pornographic photographs of our citizens, including children, and then giving apparent kickbacks to political hacks.

And that’s just the way it is."

Sadly, the people in charge of us are a bunch of self dealing crooks, almost to a man (and woman).

It’s not just Chertoff.

It’s George Soros as well.

OSI? (http://www.google.com/search?q=osi&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=&oe=)

No, OSI systems.

Look at who is part owner in the company that builds the
Rapiscan Systems machines for the TSA:

Nothing surprises me....

It was discovered Bush's Homeland Security Chief, Mr. Chertoff, had people, who had entered this country illegally, wandering around the inside of his private residence... No joke.

During war time yet.

I am not a terrorist. I am a law abiding American CITIZEN. I am NOT a SUBJECT or a TERRORIST.

If I can’t drive there, I won’t go until these onerous, unconstitutional procedures are reserved for those who ARE terrorists.

Bush's former Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff made money hawking these full body scanners?

People in D.C. getting rich off the backs of the peon tax payers?

Oh, that's nothing. Just do an internet search on the name of Bernard Kerik, the former New York City police commissioner under Rudy Giuliani who was nominated as head of the Department of Homeland Security in 2004.

He's now serving a four-year Federal prison sentence for various crimes related to his tenure in New York City and his vetting process for the DHS.

It's a good thing I don't take people in government seriously, or I'd be one cynical dude.

The point is not to take these people seriously, it is to raise hell and scream this from the rooftops, in order to preserve our freedom. Personally, I posted this on Facebook.

We can’t just sit back and take this.

Nope...Doesn't top this outrage below....

It was discovered Bush's Homeland Security Chief, Mr. Chertoff, had people, who had entered this country illegally, wandering around the inside of his private residence... No joke.

During war time yet.

One can only imagine what could have occurred, including blackmail, terrorism espionage, intel compromise, wire taps of Bush's Security Chief etc. The threat potential and damage could have been endless.

Right! Chertoff makes the law as Department of Homeland Security, and then leaves the government to sell (the tax payers) the machines. That reeks of corruption! It’s almost beyond belief.

Chertoff is the CEO of the company that is selling the machines to the TSA. Chertoff is the one that said the TSA needs to do this and then leaves the government to say I’m going to see you the machines. That is corrupt as hell. Chertoff should be sent to prison for life. This is a complete con job. Common man you are killing me!
