WASHINGTON Scientists say evidence from around the globe clearly shows that human activity is changing the climate. Conservative Republican candidates in U.S. Senate races nationwide, however, don't agree.
It's a point that scores well with tea party activists, but contradicts what NASA, the National Academy of Sciences and other prominent science organizations have been telling readers on their websites.
Victories by these candidates Tuesday could make Senate action on reducing emissions of greenhouse gases already stalled even more unlikely to restart next year. Still, even with the complex energy and climate bill looking dead, Republicans have used it especially the cap-and-trade part about reducing emissions to bash Democrats. In doing so, they've also cultivated uncertainty about climate change.

Run with that one and we'll see who's left standing on Tuesday!
Ping!
They’d better, seeing as how climate “science” is 99.99% pure bullstraw.
Scientists also say just the opposite. Media claims like this one aren't journalism, they are political advocacy.
Fortunately, an increasing number of people are figuring it out.
WASHINGTON SOME Scientists say evidence from around the globe clearly shows that human activity is changing the climate.
There fixed it.
They can take this article and shove it.
Many GOP candidates correctly reject fraudulent pseudo-science, and corrently adopt the skeptical attitude that is a FUNDAMENTAL REQUIRMENT of valid science.
Most GOP constituents doubt climate change. The rest of them we put up with because they vote right.
Global climate change by mans industry are a huge scam the democrat left uses to deceive the young, the foolish, and the stupid.
Fixed the headline.
Oh, you mean 0bama voters?
And Al Gore leaves his car idle while giving a speech and we are the ones who are supposed to be riding the bicycle to work.
Give me the damned incandescent bulb back, and take the curly-Q CFL’s and shove ‘em up the south end of the northbound Jackasses in Congress. Junk science makes me puke!
Any article that resorts to the smarmy "scientists say" gambit has no credibility at all. It is a known fact that many, many scientists reject the man-made global warming theory, and any "news" article that refuses to recognize and state that fact is a propaganda piece.
Which "scientists say"? How many? Who are they? How come we are never treated to their names, and why will none of them agree to publicly debate their claims with any of these skeptical scientists?
"Scientists say"? I say: utter rubbish.
Many scientists doubt what passes for “climate science”
That's weird, all of the scientists whose work I have read say that evidence from around the globe clearly shows that the changing climate is a natural occurrence. In Arizona, that's called a "Mexican standoff".
We doubt the “science” part of the climate science cult. Global Warming is more of a religion than Scientology.
Exactly! It’s a religion and “green credits” are simply indulgences.
Journalism is political advocacy.Journalism isn't inherently objective because journalism has its own interests - such as interesting an audience and being perceived to be objective. But ironically, promoting yourself as being objective is inimical to actually being objective.
