We really need to cut the fat, suckling pig of NPR off the government dole.

They are NOT untouchable.

They are NOT irreplaceable.

NPR’s CEO has a vendetta against black journalists at their organization. It’s a pattern of discrimination and racism by Vivian Schiller and she should resign.

Flashback: NPR Fires a Top Black Manager (NPR CEO hates black people...)

He's got it backwards...the American who needs a Psychiatrist is the one who thinks islam is the "religion of peace" and that their intentions on America are "honorable".

Megan Kelly made mincemeat of NPR in about five minutes in “Kelly’s Court” this afternoon on Fox. She pointed out:

1) NPR long ago waived any claim it might have had that Williams violated his contract by going on Fox as a commentator by allowing it for many years;

2) He might have a good disparate treatment race discrimination case, since he was their only black news analyst; and, supporting this point

3) Nina Totenberg, who’s white, got away with some really scathing comments about Jessee Helms that clearly reflected her personal opinion and wasn’t disciplined for them.

The leftists in the psychiatric profession already DO have a “disorder” that fits the bill for classifying dissent as a psychosis.

They call it “Oppositional Defiant Disorder”.

Sure, dissenting against tyranny is a “disorder”,
but having a sexual desire for the same sex is not.

Shiller doesn't hate black people, she just hates half-black people.

Oh, and NPR says that they only get 2% of their funding from tax dollars. If that's the case then I'm sure they won't mind if that 2% gets cut off.

“It appears that the NPR CEO is simply an arrogant left wing SOB with that smug, condescending attitude.”

In other words, a perfect fit for the job.

I think Juan has one heck of a civil rights suit on his hands. Once the court awards him several millions and demands that NPR take him back, I hope NPR demands the resignation of the CEO

No doubt that arrogant witch’s apology came at the insistence of risk management.

Thoughtful comments by other NPR contributors:

* Nina Totenberg:

... if there was "retributive justice" in the world, former North Carolina Sen. Jesse Helms would "get AIDS from a transfusion, or one of his grandchildren will get it."

* On "All Things Considered," humorist Andrei Codrescu said:

... the "evaporation of 4 million [people] who believe" in the doctrine of Rapture "would leave the world a better place."

Codrescu, who was on contract with NPR but not a full-time employee, later told The Associated Press he was sorry for the language, but "not for what [he] said."

* Julianne Malveaux. an occasional guest on Public Broadcasting, said on another network:

On November 4, 1994, Malveaux famously stated of Supreme Court Justice Thomas: "I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease....He is an absolutely reprehensible person."

There are some facts here that I am not sure that I have a handle on.

What is the racial breakdown of on-air talent at NPR?

What is the racial breakdown of administrative staff at NPR?

Is Ms Schiller a person of color? Her immediate staff? Her supervisor (or board if she is the CEO)?

Is there a pattern of past discrimination against minority talent?

As the earlier freeper added to his post—

Just askin.
