Ahmadinejad: Iran is Obama's only way to stay in power By the CNN Wire Staff STORY HIGHLIGHTS

(CNN) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has penned a letter to President Obama, telling his American counterpart that Iran is Obama's only option for success, state-run media reported.
"Obama has only one way to remain in power and be successful. This way is Iran," Ahmadinejad said in a nationally televised speech Tuesday, according to the Iranian Republic News Agency (IRNA).
"Obama should start cooperation with Iran in practice," he said. "I have written a letter to Obama which will be published soon."
Ahmadinejad spoke just days after the conclusion of a 47-nation nuclear summit convened by Obama to raise global awareness of the threat of nuclear terrorism.
The White House has been pressing for a fourth round of United Nations sanctions on Iran for its nuclear ambitions. Iran says its nuclear programs are designed for civilian use.
"The time when they imagine that they can do any harm on Iran is over," Ahmadinejad said, according to IRNA.
The Iranian leader urged cooperation between the Islamic republic and America. He said Iran was not the nation that was being isolated. Instead, he said, it was the United States that was in that position.
"We don't need you to do anything for us to come out of isolation, rather we want to help you come out of isolation," he said.

But on the plus side, it’s amusing to see CNN refer to someone else as “state-run media.”
Ahmadinejad and Obama are cut from the same cloth.
I imagine they can relate to each other like twins separated at birth.
Maybe so; but, don’t kid yourself about Obama because he sees himself as “President for Life”. That’s the reason, I think, he is trying to realign our allies. Traditional allies are now passe and old enemies are now allies, at least Obama’s allies. If he can call on his allies to help him perpetuate his stay in office, he’ll do it. That sort of power grab is not beyond Obama.

If The GOP ever gets its act together in the next few months and sweeps Congress, this is yet another Obama Tactic of which they must be aware ... as part of their as yet undeveloped PLAN, or PROGRAM, as uttered by NO LEADER, because as yet, our belover GOP has NO CLUE.
Obama will win reelection in 2012, irrespective of his opponents (and it seems likely that there will be three or more, including at least one nonviable hardcore socialist who will get a lot of press coverage in order to constantly emphasize his or her nonviability), irrespective of his failures in domestic and foreign policy, because just getting elected in 2008 and ramming through unpopular measures (and think about it — all the big legislation he’s rammed through has been unpopular except among a small, loudmouthed group of partisan zealots) has been sufficient success to dispel any doubt among the people who voted for him because they think he’s black.
