Nearly one American in four routinely censors his or her own thoughts "much" or "always" under President Obama's administration, and those who believe their personal liberties have plunged since inauguration day have grown significantly from 49 percent to more than 55 percent in just one month....
The WND Freedom Index poll from Wenzel Strategies shows even one in 10 Democrats whose party controls both the White House and Congress believes there's been a big decrease in freedoms....
On the issue of censoring, the question was asked: "Do you find yourself self-censoring thoughts that you hold on a given subject because of fear of harm, punishment, social rejection, or some other penalty?"
Ten percent said they censor "much," and another 13.3 percent said they censor "always." The figures were 11 percent for Republicans and independents who reported censoring "much" and more than 16 percent in each category for those who censor "always."
Even among Democrats, nearly 7 percent censor "always" and another 8 percent censor "much."

LOl! You must be kidding! I’m not censoring mine.....
LOL - my best friend's husband is one of those that just says anything he is thinking. He never shuts up and of course, he's a liberal and spews that stupidity along with all of his other constant yacking.
When I visit my friend (we've known each other since high school), we can't really properly catch up because her hubby monopolizes any conversation we have.
I wish he'd learn to "censor" his thoughts. ;-)
I don’t worry about censoring my thoughts. My differences with Obama are about policy, and not about race. Regardless of how people might want to get me or anybody else to pipe down, I’m not going to do it.
They censor their thoughts but talk to pollsters? This is one of the funnier headlines FR has had recently.
Daily Prayer: Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth!

My worthless brother-in-law(If you know him he probably owes you money) does that! He NEVER shuts up! Of course he is all for Obamacare and he hasn’t worked for a living since 1980.
He quit work in 1980 as he didn’t want to pay taxes to Reagan, he said.
We know the "Chicago Way" - it's the way of corruption and favor - the same since the dawn of time.
“
Ive self censored to the extent that I no longer have
anything to do with several people I used to be close to.

This is why despots/dictators (even if elected) don’t see their
“Judgement Day” until it has basically happened.
And I’m talking non-violent action here...e.g., seeing the stunned
look on the faces of the Democrats and MSM anchors during the 1994 election.
I tend to think that the White House is receiving far more negative mail than is being admitted. That would explain “The Divine One’s” impudent remarks regarding the opposition to the recent health care power grab.
This is not a big f---ing deal.
You're right - liberals make it very safe for some types of speech. I assume that right will move down to elementary schools soon...
And of course it’s always nice to quote their own words back to them if you DO say something. My favorite is “But I thought Hillary said that dissent is the highest form of patriotism.” If they accuse you of racism and you’re white, just say, “I’m not a racist, and you KNOW I am not, but if I were, then maybe I’m disagreeing with his WHITE half!” Another good response is to show how WE the people don’t get to live like the Congress and president do. We have to budget our meager dollars, pay our bills, and play by the rules in our workplaces. But Congress does NONE of that.
Most people I know, even if they are politically liberal, live much of their lives in a conservative fashion. They understand fairness and at least acknowledge the existence of a moral compass. They would balk at a fellow employee getting more pay for the same job, for example. Use workplace analogies to prove your points about socialism/communism.
