Sued, yeah, that'll work. For a short while, then they'll find another angle to attack the 2ND.

There's only three things in this world you can be sure of, death, taxes and the perfidious nature of liberals.

You can end up with the same worthless attitudes as a Protestant as you did when you were a Catholic. Or, you could be a Godless puke and still not like guns.

I only go into homes that have guns.

Don't be silly. Some of my ancestors owned the entire place, most of New York, and huge chunks of wherever else they could walk to in a week.

When you let in the people who vote for Sanders you lost it.

I scanned through it and I didn’t see lead or ammunition specifically mentioned, but ammunition isn’t among the product categories exempted either.

Maybe something to keep an eye on, but your right, it’s not in itself an ammo ban. I can foresee An extremely anti-gun bureaucrat may use it to try to restrict lead bullets though.

How long will it be until all ammunition is "green", and other manufacturers are forced to comply to "green" regulations?

Been duck hunting lately?

Bismuth or steel, but no lead shot. Birdshot for waterfowl hunting is already 'green' (and the number of 'cripples' increased when it went that way).

Vermont had 4 murders in the entire state last year. One was by hammer bludgeoning, 3 by stabbing no shootings. This despite having a fair number of guns in the state.

LOL, you really believe that crap? The Frogs here, myself included, are the hunters and trappers of the state. It is the flatlanders who flooded the state since the sixties from Massachusetts and New York (think Sanders and Dean) who are the gun grabbers.

Have you ever even been to Vermont?

When Sanders ran for mayor of Burlington he sued to get the kids at UVM the right to vote in the state. These kids pay no taxes here, attend the university as out of state students, have their cars registered elsewhere etc, etc. The courts, of course, sided with Sanders and now the college kids have enough of an impact to sway the entire state.

I’m not saying that there are not a bunch of liberal hippies here but if it weren’t for the out of state kids voting then Vermont would be much more like New Hampshire politically.

There was one guy in my squadron from New Hampshire. He complained about my antics quite a bit. He was a dumbass and didn’t know an escape from the madness if it looked him in the eye.

Nope, not in many years.

Bismuth or steel, but no lead shot. Birdshot for waterfowl hunting is already 'green'...
By regulation or by choice?

Keep in mind the thread I linked to was originally put up in 2000.

By law. Lead shot has been banned for use in most waterways in the nation for waterfowl hunting.

Got it.
The United States banned the use of lead shot for hunting migratory waterfowl in 1991.

I dunno. The law seems to pertain to hunting and there is nothing in the second amendment about hunting.

That's the thing with NRA - they get all het up about hunting rights to the detriment of real second amendment issues.

It is loosely connected because lots of hunters use guns but I'm not convinced there is any right to hunt that “shall not be infringed”</my .02>.

Hmmm - not about hunting or ammo at all (other than it doesn't specifically exclude it).

I don't think it's a necessary law and indeed it may impede interstate commerce - and to whatever extent it does it would be unconstitutional.

I think I'll be sticking with the major battles on the front, and this ain't one of ‘em.
