Americans haven't seen President Barack Obama since a Nigerian man tried to blow up a Northwest Airlines plane in Detroit on Christmas Day. But they have gotten a glimpse of their new president’s style in the face of a crisis.
Obama, who is expected to publicly address the incident for the first time early this week, has kept mum over the past few days. That's his approach in this type of situation, aides say - to seek a fact-based assessment. So for the first few days Obama left the public comments to senior members of his administration.

In all fairness, there is “activity” where there needs to be. Just get out of the US press, even on-line; seek and ye shall find.
When he speaks he is going to first blame President Bush saying something like “ I inherited a weak security system and now I am going to fix it”. We can easily predict the crap and lies that this man is going to say about any issue. His problem that only a minority of people now believe any word he says on any subject and for certain the majority of people are not going to blame President Bush on this major security breach.
No one has see Obama or his wife and daughters attending any sort of Christian religious service during the Christmas feast either.
Did he make any sort of statement before he left for Hawaii regarding wishing the citizens a Happy Holiday and safe travel? I do not think he said anything. He just hopped onto the plane.

Just as well we didn’t have to endure the spectacle of the pseudo president and his family going to church.
Some years ago when Clinton was out and Bush was in, there was some video of both families attending church services. The Clintons looked like they hadn’t been in church for years, while the Bush family appeared to be practicing their faith. For the Clintons, it was a photo op; for te Bush family, it was genuine worship.
