I don't think Matt Taibbi was ever the fawning Obama worshiper he's been made out to be the last few days since that article was published. He wrote a great article some months back severely criticizing all this bailout nonsense and Goldman Sachs central role in it, and was a guest on the Savage Nation. Seemed pretty rational. Also the notable conservative writer P.J. O'Rourke has graced he pages of Rolling Stone numerous times over the years, so they can't all be blind Obamaites at that publication.

I hope that's true, but I fear it will be too little to late. For anything to really happen, the change in 2010 will have to be massive, Dems losing 70 to 80 seats in the house, 6 to 10 seats in the senate and I don't know if i see that happening.
