Sarah Palin Book Signing - Columbus Ohio 11/20/09 (Vanity)

Sarah Palin is having a book signing at Borders Books on Sawmill from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM on Friday, 11-20-09.

After reading about the crowds in Michigan and the need for wristbands to get a book signed, I called Borders Books in Columbus on Sawmill - here's the deal:

No books signed without a wristband, and proof that the book came from Borders or Waldens.
Wristbands become available Friday morning at 10:00 AM.
1 wristband is good for 2 people with 1 book each.

The lady advised me to come in and buy the books today, because she doesn't think they will have enough. "We just keep opening box after box, and they are flying off the shelf!"

I really don't wanna miss work Friday morning, but it looks like that's what it will take. At least the wristband is good for 2 people!

If you join the Borders club or show your club card, the book is 40% off.

A suggestion for fellow cheapskates - go to Giant Eagle and buy a Borders gift card, then you'll get about $3 or $4 worth of free gas if you buy the 2 books at 40% off.

I’ll be passing through Washington, PA on Saturday, and found out I can’t attend the book signing there because it requires a Sam’s Club membership to get in. I gave up my Sam’s Club membership several years ago.

I really want to go to this. It's irritating that you have to show up early, wait in line for wrist band, then come back and wait in line again. Pretty much requires an all-day commitment, I figure.

Don't think I can justify missing the entire work day. I mean, not again. Already missed two days for Palin during the campaign - saw her in Wayne Co and in Highland Co (and, don't get me wrong - it was worth it).

I want to really really bad. I'll have to check the threads for the *other* signing appearances to see how much time I'd need to invest.

I’ve gotta be in Chillicothe Friday morning, so there’s no way I can do it. The other half and I decided to stay home and watch for a signed book on Ebay.

These crowds must be driving the libtards crazy!

You're going to kick yourself if you don't go. My wife and I had a chance to go to one of her first rallies after she was selected by John McCain. It was a mere 3 hours away in Reno.

We both would've had to take sick days or vacation days which we get paid for if we don't use by the end of the year.

We knew something special was brewing and we assumed she'd visit Northern California before the election and we'd go then.

Never happened. We're still kicking ourselves.

But here's the good news. We just found out she will be in Redding in February and you can bet your bottom dollar we will be there.

To be up front and personal with my fellow freepers, seeing Gov.Palin or Glen Beck or even Hannity in person(no matter how far away) is such a positive experience for my personal hope for our country it is difficult to explain. I was fortunate to see the Holy Father(that’s the Pope for those in Rio Linda and parts of New England and California) back in the 70’s when he was in New York as his motorcade past me on the service road of the Grand Central Parkway and then again here in San Antonio in the late 80’s from a distance that is referred to as a two fer. Both times I was brought to tears and felt a sense of hope for my salvation and that of mankind(call me what you like, but to me it is real) The Holy Father gave me inner peace and just being in the same area as Gov.Palin, Glen Beck and in a way Hannity gave me a sense of hope for our country away from its’ socialist direction back to a secure, more balanced,God respecting, less political correct life.

I did the same thing and I am only about 90 miles from Carson City, so could have been in Reno in about 3 to 4 hours. Been kicking myself since then!
