Setting the people up to die: A conspiracy of silence about swine flu natural remedies
Natural News ^ | August 26, 2009 | Mike Adams

Posted on 11/13/2009 8:44:59 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

It's emblazoned across the front page of USA Today, just underneath a subhead declaring Michael Jackson was, indeed, killed by a drug overdose: "Flu could infect half of USA." The article goes on to describe the predicted number of deaths expected in the U.S. (30,000 - 90,000 Americans) as well as the actions being taken by the government to protect Americans from the coming swine flu pandemic.

That advice reads sort of like a comic book of health care advice for kindergarteners: Wash your hands, cover your mouth if you cough and let "the grownups" take care of the rest by injecting you with a vaccine. Curiously absent from all the health advice being handed out on the swine flu by the White House, the CDC, the WHO and even the FDA is any mention of Vitamin D or other natural remedies that offer enormous protections from influenza infections.

The absence of this information from virtually all the advice being handed out to the American public is increasingly suspicious. If a pandemic flu is, indeed, threatening to infect half the U.S. population, and if most of the population is deficient in a nutrient known to strongly prevent influenza infections, wouldn't it make good sense to make a few announcements encouraging Americans to raise their vitamin D levels throughout the coming winter?

It is a well-known medical fact, of course, that influenza always gets worse during the winter months North of the equator and the summer months South of the equator (which are really called their "winter" months). This is because as sunlight hours lessen during the winter, the people living there become vitamin D deficient and are susceptible to influenza infections of all kinds.

The information resources backing this are easy to find. Even our own NaturalPedia.com website reveals a large amount of information on natural defenses against influenza (http://www.naturalpedia.com/influen...). NaturalNews.com, of course, offers a wealth of articles on Vitamin D (http://www.naturalnews.com/vitamin_...).

In the realm of peer-reviewed medical literature, searching Google Scholar for "influenza" and "vitamin D" returns tens of thousands of results (http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q...). In particular, one study appearing in these search results is entitled Epidemic influenza and vitamin D. It was published in 2006 in the journal Epidemiology and Infection (2006, 134:6:1129-1140 Cambridge University Press) and its abstract reads as follows:

In 1981, R. Edgar Hope-Simpson proposed that a 'seasonal stimulus' intimately associated with solar radiation explained the remarkable seasonality of epidemic influenza. Solar radiation triggers robust seasonal vitamin D production in the skin; vitamin D deficiency is common in the winter, and activated vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D, a steroid hormone, has profound effects on human immunity. 1,25(OH)2D acts as an immune system modulator, preventing excessive expression of inflammatory cytokines and increasing the 'oxidative burst' potential of macrophages. Perhaps most importantly, it dramatically stimulates the expression of potent anti-microbial peptides, which exist in neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer cells, and in epithelial cells lining the respiratory tract where they play a major role in protecting the lung from infection. Volunteers inoculated with live attenuated influenza virus are more likely to develop fever and serological evidence of an immune response in the winter. Vitamin D deficiency predisposes children to respiratory infections. Ultraviolet radiation (either from artificial sources or from sunlight) reduces the incidence of viral respiratory infections, as does cod liver oil (which contains vitamin D). An interventional study showed that vitamin D reduces the incidence of respiratory infections in children. We conclude that vitamin D, or lack of it, may be Hope-Simpson's 'seasonal stimulus'.

sambucol’s website notes the site below, for background...

http://www.blackelderberry.info/index.cfm?id=376

3rd study down is of interest - in seasonal flu — iirc, tamiflu cut the duration of illness by 1.5 days, vs elderberry that cut it by 3-4 days. also note that it impairs the ability of the virus to attach to cells, vs tamiflu that impairs the ability of the virus to get out of an infected cell - H vs N.

1 in 5 kids get little vitamin D, study says

By LINDSEY TANNER (AP) – 7 hours ago
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hyaIB59PGCPPIn68oExCukmgPLPAD9BIIQN83

CHICAGO — At least one in five U.S. children aged 1 to 11 don’t get enough vitamin D and could be at risk for a variety of health problems including weak bones, the most recent national analysis suggests.

By a looser measure, almost 90 percent of black children that age and 80 percent of Hispanic kids could be vitamin D deficient — “astounding numbers” that should serve as a call to action, said Dr. Jonathan Mansbach, lead author of the new analysis and a researcher at Harvard Medical School and Children’s Hospital in Boston.

The findings add to mounting evidence about vitamin D deficiency in children, teens and adults, a concern because of recent studies suggesting the vitamin might help prevent serious diseases, including infections, diabetes and even some cancers.

While hard evidence showing that low levels of vitamin D lead to disease or that high levels prevent it is lacking, it’s a burgeoning area of research.

Exactly how much vitamin D children and adults should get, and defining when they are deficient, is under debate. Doctors use different definitions, and many are waiting for guidance expected in an Institute of Medicine report on vitamin D due next year. The institute is a government advisory group that sets dietary standards.

The new analysis, released online Monday by the journal Pediatrics, is the first assessment of varying vitamin D levels in children aged 1 through 11.

Previous studies in the journal this year found low levels were prevalent in U.S. teens, and also showed kids with low levels had higher blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and were more likely to be overweight.

The new analysis uses data from a 2001-06 government health survey of nearly 3,000 children. They had blood tests measuring vitamin D levels.

Using the American Academy of Pediatrics’ cutoff for healthy vitamin D levels, 6.4 million children — about 20 percent of kids that age — have blood levels that are too low. Applying a less strict, higher cutoff, two-thirds of children that age, including 90 percent of black kids and 80 percent of Hispanics, are deficient in vitamin D.

A Pediatrics editorial says the strongest evidence about effects of vitamin D deficiency in kids involves rickets, a bone disease common a century ago but that continues to occur.

Rickets can be treated and prevented with 400 units daily of vitamin D, the editorial says. The pediatricians’ group recently recommended that amount for all children, saying that most need vitamin supplements.

Mansbach says his study, funded by the National Institutes of Health, supports that recommendation.

Children can get 400 units daily by drinking four cups of fortified milk, or eating lots of fish, but many don’t do that.

The body also makes vitamin D when sunlight hits the skin, but many children don’t spend enough time outdoors. That’s one reason why lower vitamin D levels are found in children living in colder climates and those with darker skin, which absorbs less sunlight.

This is the email from Dr. Gitterle .

He says you should take NAC & Oscillococinum

This is a link about NAC studies & the H5N1 flu

http://www.med-owl.com/health/H5N1-Virus-Therapy.html

Subject: Flu Update from Dr. Gitterle

After I returned from a public health meeting yesterday with community leaders and school officials in Comal County, Heather suggested I send an update to everyone, because what we are hearing privately from the CDC and Health Department is so different from what you are hearing in the media. Some of you know some or maybe all of this, but I will just list what facts I know.

- The virus is infectious for about 2 days prior to symptom onset

- Virus sheds more than 7 days after symptom onset (possibly as long as 9 days) (this is unusual)

- Since it is such a novel (new) virus, there is no “herd immunity,” so the “attack rate” is very high. This is the percentage of people who come down with a virus if exposed. Almost everyone who is exposed to this virus will become infected, though not all will be symptomatc. That is much higher than seasonal flu, which averages 10-15%. The “clinical attack rate” may be around 40-50%. This is the number of people who show symptoms. This is a huge number. It is hard to convey the seriousness of this.

- The virulence (deadliness) of this virus is as bad here as in Mexico, and there are folks on ventilators here in the US, right now. This has not been in the media, but a 23 month old near here is fighting for his life, and a pregnant woman just south of San Antonio is fighting for her life. In Mexico, these folks might have died already, but here in the US, folks are getting Tamiflu or Relenza quickly, and we have ready access to ventilators. What this means is that within a couple of weeks, regional hospitals will likely become overwhelmed.

- Some of the kids with positive cases in Comal County had more than 70 contacts before diagnosis.

- There are 10-25 times more actual cases (not “possible” cases — actual), than what is being reported in the media. The way they fudge on reporting this is that it takes 3 days to get the confirmatory nod from the CDC on a given viral culture, but based on epidemiological grounds, we know that there are more than 10 cases for each “confirmed” case right now.

- During the night, we crossed the threshold for the definition of a WHO, Phase 6 global pandemic. This has not happened in any of our lifetimes so far. We are in uncharted territory.

- I expect President Obama will declare an emergency sometime in the next 72-96 hours. This may not happen, but if it doesn’t, I will be surprised. When this happens, all public gathering will be cancelled for 10 days.

- I suggest all of us avoid public gatherings. Outdoor activities are not as likely to lead to infection. It is contained areas and close contact that are the biggest risk.

- Tamiflu is running out. There is a national stockpile, but it will have to be carefully managed, as it is not enough to treat the likely number of infections when this is full-blown. I don’t think there is a big supply of Relenza, but I do not know those numbers. If I had to choose, I would take Relenza, as I think it gets more drug to the affected tissue than Tamiflu.

- You should avoid going to the ER if you think you have been exposed or are symptomatic. ER’s south of here are becoming overwhelmed — and I mean that — already. It is coming in waves, but the waves are getting bigger.

- It appears that this flu produces a distinctive “hoarseness” in many victims. The symptoms, in general, match other flu’s; namely, sore throat, body aches, headache, cough, and fever. Some have all these symptoms, while others may have only one or two.

- N-Acetyl-Cysteine — a nutritional supplement available at the health food store or Wimberley Pharmacy, has been shown to prevent or lessen the severity of influenza. I suggest 1200mg, twice a day for adults, and 600mg twice a day in kids over 12. It would be hard to get kids under 12 to take it, but you could try opening the capsules and putting it on yogurt. For 40 pounds and up, 300-600 mg twice a day, for less than 40 pounds, half that.

- Oscillococinum, a homeopathic remedy, has been vindicated as quite effective in a large clinical trial in Europe, with an H1N1 variant. You can buy this at Hill Country Natural Foods, or the Wimberley Pharmacy.

I will try to keep everyone posted if I have any new information. Meanwhile, don’t be afraid just avoid infection. The fewer people infected the easier it will be for our public officials to manage it.

Marc Gitterle, M.D.

Video: ABC Nightline - H1N1 ICU Patients 11-11-09

I’m back, finally... just went through 12 day sickness with my 2nd round of SWINE FLU & a 2nd round of TAMIFLU & having to be under care of my internist.... saw personal doctor on day #3 from when sickness first started around Halloween).

This round of illness was primarily GI symptoms and not respiratory ... internist (personal doctor x 22 years & also a hospitalist/ICU clinician) said that my new case was likely a “RE-INFECTION” and that I definitely had “INFLUENZA” and that was diagnosis written on my chart. Said that many cases just like mine where coming in every day now and that some tested “+” for type A on the Rapid Swab while others did not (yet was seeing those “-” result patients with same exact GI symptoms and same manner of onset as mine were (and also commented that swab test was only “40” accurate anyhow, so why bother...).

The doctor made it clear that in his opinion there are definitely 2 varieties of H1N1 & that other doctors too have said same, that there are either other H1N1 strains or mutations (used word “variances”) are taking place; that one variety begins mostly respiratory and it seemed that one is the one that may lead to lungs & other organs being visciously attacked very quick and that the other form is the one with a mainly GI intestinal type illness with flu-like onset starting out with fever, weakness, bad body aches and severe headache -—> then followed within 24-48 hours by the nausea, vomitting & diarrhea over next few days and then the illness becomes quite severe for many people.

Also add in a trip to the ER & day spent in hospital getting IV’s & meds via IM (shots) to stop super-severe GI symptoms causing worst-ever abdominal cramps (thought I was having a baby) & diarrhea & vomitting nonstop for over 8 hours on that day (following one day of improvement post-Tamiflu). The unexpected worsening needing ER care came on the night after day 5 of this terrible illness (understand that the worsening spell began after being on Tamiflu x 48 hours = had taken 4 doses by then but last one did not every get absorbed).

I did seem to be much improved on day 6 of the illness (but it was the 2nd day after starting Tamiflu) and thought I was going to survive after all .... still taking only clear liquids and staying in bed ..... but I was wrong ,,, that worsening spell came on in late night like a bolt of lightning and in just a few hours it went very bad and by morning I was so sick that considered calling ambulance as could not stand up at all & had to be carried to car after fainting - no fluids left in GI system at all, just flushed out bone dry.

At hospital in ER, one the doctors that treated me also spoke about how they also are seeing more “Re-infections” taking place with Swine Flu depite the CDC not confirming this,,,, the nurse laughed & said that it seems that CDC is not telling any one much about what’s really going on. While in the ER, I heard some discussions out in the station area, staff talking about how weird this illness can be, where some people start out with one type of symptoms and then can develop other, etc and the scary organ attacks and heart attacks, strokes, etc ... they made me wear a mask the entire time there and everyone had on gloves + masks that came into room.

It’s taken about another week to get really over this sickness, lost over 10 pounds, still wonder if the virus (&/or germ combo = viteria &/or BCW nanotechnology or ??? = we will NEVER be told truth of anything...) still lurks somewhere inside my systems to strike again. I recall back in early October maybe it was that one of you all, Summerthyme or Cascadians made remarks about how this virus did not just go away after you get better ... maybe it was posted on around page 170 or so?

So, am now very far behind from 12 days ago on what’s been added here on this thread + others that may been started but going to jump back in and just keep on going from here on.

Now to my ‘back-in-the-saddle’ news contribution that I hope hasn’t been posted already & will remove if so - just let me know:

There was a program on H1N1 on the ABC channel last night (11-11-09), on the show called Nightline, after late news. I think everyone must watch this if possible and am linking video below -—> the doctor in the show tells how he is seeing things never before thought possiblehappening with the critically ill H1N1 patients ... how one healthy man in 40’s had H1N1 develop while at same time he had a large PE (Pulmonary Embolism = blood clot in lung vessel), a heart attack (MI), and a stroke!

And yet that twerp puppet of the NWO, the CDC director, Dr. Thomas Frieden, told such huge lies to the people of this nation when in an interview on CNN (or whatever news last week) he stated that this H1N1 virus is just an ordinary flu like every season, that it is no different than usual seasonal flu, the deaths are nothing of concern, blah blah blah blah ..... ggggrrrrrrrrrrr Liar liar liar!! Infuriating is only word to describe .......

11-11-09: ABC NIGHTLINE
H1N1 Virus: Healthy Adults in Critical Care
Go inside a hospital to witness how the H1N1 flu can become deadly.

http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/

The clip is not long, can enlarge to full screen too. If I find transcript, will post it too.

PS: Big news report on local news at noon here today about how now CDC has suddenly adjusted death rate (why now?) the official death numbers they are tracking up to 4000 H1N1 deaths in USA and doing this as they are now going to include H1N1 related complications. I’m not looking for articles yet as am betting Tom or one of ya’ll has already posted this news report on this thread already.

Also, I think there are now around 19 or 20 official deaths reported in Dallas. Texas (County) from H1N1 now but there are local reports saying that the death count is very distorted as there are *NO* laws that any influenza death has to be legally reported. There was a local Judge interviewed recently on local news station & he said there are plenty more Swine Flu deaths that are not being reported at all in all areas of Texas; that some areas do report at all, not even to state Health Department, etc.

Do you care to share you elderberry elixer recipe?

Sure. here goes...

Recipe...

Use quart glass canning jars. Fill the jars 1/3 full of dried black (Sambucus nigra) elderberries. This does NOT have to be exact, eyeball measurement is just fine. (One pound of dried elderberries will eyeball 1/3 fill 3 quarts with a bit left over or you can just evenly divide a pound of the dried berries between 3 quart jars. More really does NOT make the tincture stronger.) Now fill the jar almost to the top with vodka, not less than 80 proof. DO NOT USE any other alcohol, no matter the proof, brand or type. VODKA = TINCTURE; Now, cap the jars securely, give a shake or two, and store in a cool, dark area for 7-10 days. Shake a couple of times a day. That is the universally accepted time period to produce tincture. Longer does not make stronger. After the 7-10 days you can strain off the liquid and toss the berry residue. DO NOT reuse that residue. The alcohol molecules fill up to capacity within the 7-10 days and can absorb no more no matter how long it soaks. Now, tighten the jars, label, and store.

How do you use elderberry tincture?

Elderberries medicinal properties work directly on Influenza A or B virus present in the body. When an adult exhibits symptoms of influenza infection i.e. sudden onset of high fever, dry persistent cough, weakness, commercially prepared elderberry preparations suggest taking internally 2 teaspoons of preparation every 4 hours, i.e. the commercial equivalent, Sambucol. To use homemade elderberry tincture, the consensus of opinion seems to be that taking 2 Tablespoons every 6 hours or so for 8-10 days will do the trick. There will be a reduction in symptoms within 2-3 days of taking elderberry tincture as per recommended above, but the virus will still be present so take for the full 8-10 days just like taking an antibiotic for a prescribed treatment course. One quart jar will last about 10 days, or one full treatment dose.

(Note: as a preventative, we ingest 1 teaspoon of tincture at night before bed during flu season. We haven't had the flu since starting this regimen four years ago, and we don't take flu shots)

What are the side effects and/or drug interactions of using elderberry preparations?

None documented with the use of S. nigra elderberries or flowers. The leaves, bark, roots of S. nigra are toxic as are the berries and flowers of the other elder varieties. They can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. There are no known drug interactions documented at this time and therefore, no contra-indications. (from an herbal website)

Lifespan of Tincture:

8 years in cool/dark storage. Room temperature/dark is OK. Light and heat are destructive to tincture.

WEBSITE I use to buy the berries (Elderberries, Whole, Sambucus nigra)...

Good luck!

Important addition. The Green Tea noted above also has a very important contribution to the system. It is a hemagglutinin (the “H” factor in H1N1) inhibitor. This means it is superbly complementary to all the other substances, and is much like a mirror image to Tamiflu and Relenza, which are neuraminidase (the “N” factor in H1N1) inhibitors.

So, to recap.

1) Vitamin D3 ASAP, both from sunlight and supplements. Up to 30,000 IU a day when showing symptoms. Most people can tolerate this for 2-3 weeks before getting toxic effects. It attacks the virus in several ways including dissolving its protective coat, and helps your immune system attack it without going overboard.
2) Pure cranberry juice to stop the virus from sticking to cells (viral adhesion inhibitor).
3) Green tea to prevent the virus from burrowing into the cells (”H” inhibitor).
4) Ionic zinc in Cold-Eeze to inhibit viral reproduction inside the cells.
5) Tamiflu and Relenza to prevent the virus from burrowing out of the cells and getting back into the bloodstream (”N” inhibitor).
6) Benedryl as a Histamine-1 inhibitor, along with Zantac (believed to be superior to Tagamet, which is a change of formula) as a Histamine-2 inhibitor, and Advil (Ibuprofen) as a Prostaglandin inhibitor.

*7) As of yet unconfirmed, the use of statin drugs like Crestor. Originally a statistical study suggested that it prevented Acute Respiratory Distress, but that was strongly disputed as improper statistical analysis. However, since then, other research has indicated that it might indeed be helpful, by itself or in combination with the other drugs found in 6) above. Statin drugs are “enzyme HMG-CoA reductase” inhibitors.

*8) As of yet unconfirmed, MAST cell inhibitors, like cromolyn sodium (found in OTC nasal spray NasalCrom), also have a strong possibility of usefulness. MAST cells are grouped together in fat cells, and when irritated, release a large amount of assorted cytokines. Unfortunately, while cromolyn sodium can inhibit nasal MAST cells, it is poorly absorbed (only 7%) through the GI tract, so cannot get to the vast majority of MAST cells. However, when directly injected into the fat, might be very effective in inhibiting the cytokine storm. Do not attempt to inject NasalCrom! Another form of cromolyn sodium may be developed for this use.

Irritated MAST cells as associated with obesity, in that they promote fat production and retention, as well as other immune system overreactions, which may also explain why obesity is being seen as a risk factor in the cytokine storm.

Yes: Be very skeptical when it comes to self-proclaimed internet health gurus.

Mike Adams of "NaturalNews" also owns a company that sells email marketing software, Arial Software.

Every time you read one of his articles that requires you to input an email address to read the rest of the article, you provide him with an active email address that he could potentially sell to his Arial Software customers, who are mass email marketers.

His company, Truth Publishing, owns at least 387 website domains related to alternative healthcare ideas and products as well as internet newsletter and email marketing software. One of the email addresses he uses for domain registrations is a contact on the whois record of 463 domains. That's a hallmark of internet spammers and viral marketers.

Currently active and past domains include: prenatalnutrition.org, expectant-mothers.com, NewsTarget.com, HoodiaFactor.com, EmergingFuture.com, SpamAnatomy.com, VitaminFactor.org, CounterThink.com, HealthFactor.info, JunkScience.info, BrainHealthNews.com, LowCholesterolDiets.DietsLink.com, PublicHealthNews.org, PharmaWatch.info, HomeToxins.com, PoisonPantry.org, DepressionFactor.org, webseed.com, ConsumerWellness.org, herbreference.com, FLUNEWS.ORG, healingfoodreference.com, honestfoodguide.com, organicconsumers.org, Naturalhealthreport.com, usenature.com, supplementreference.com, newenergyreport.org, birdfludefense.com, enewslettertemplates.com

He uses these sites for what appears to be an elaborate viral marketing scheme that plays on people's fears about mainstream medicine and Big Pharma, gathering active email addresses, selling vitamins and alternative/complementary medicine products and self published books and tapes.

His corporation, Truth Publishing International, Ltd. is headquartered at 12F-4, No.171, Sec. 4, Nanjing E. Rd, Taipei, Songshan District, Taiwan.

That is also the headquarters of a huge Taiwanese telemarketing and email marketing firm. (Some of the address and phone data from his website domain registrations also come up on websites listing known or suspected Nigerian internet scammers (Google cache) . I don't know if that data is accurate.)

The Reference links at NaturalNews include links to environmentalist groups that support population control as well as sites that may be front groups for Scientology.

Mike Adams was also the guy who ran, with Mike Goodin (or under the alias "Mike Goodin"), the Y2KNewswire service, which was the number one source of much of the Y2K fears and hysteria 10 years ago. Y2KNewswire's address was 1501 Stampede Ave, Suite 3040, Cody, WY USA 82414. That's the same address as Mike Adams'a Arial Software. The whois domain info for many of these websites use email addresses common to Truth Publishing, Y2KNewswire, Arial Software, webseed.com, and others. (Google srs@webseed.com and mg@webseed.com) Truth Publishing's "Order Fulfillment Warehouse" is listed as 2055 N. Kolb Rd Ste. 131, Tucson, Arizona 85715. That's also the address for the Arizona office of Arial Software.

This is all circumstantial evidence from simple Google searches. In my opinion, however, anyone who thinks NaturalNews is a reasonable and rational source for health information is the victim of a very well oiled viral marketing scheme.

Thank you!! I always have not liked NaturalNews nor Mike Adams, but it was just my conclusion after reading a few of his articles.

Now I know the “rest of the story” and it certainly tells a tale.

So far, 3900 deaths in the US from swine flu - in the last six months

A bit over the 4000 deaths of the US servicemen in Iraq over the past eight years!

Over 6,000 people die in this world every hour!

IN case anyone is wondering:

Looks good - sign me and my family up for the shot.

Wait - you were presenting a list of stuff that you thought might make someone doubt the efficacy of vaccinations. Sorry, got ahead of myself then...

Now I am in a quandry, do I throw out my aluminum foil, give up eating pork, rabbit, chicken, ducks, lamb, jello, MSG, sugars, and any food or product that has typical preservatives in it, or get a vaccination for a disease that is at a minimum a pain in the ass, and at the extreme a very serious medical condition?

Well, sticking with the vaccine route since I am not an idiot I suppose.

But hey - keep posting - much appreciated. Maybe this kind of crap willreduce the lines for me and mine once the ineptidude of the federal government is finally overcome.

Oh wait - need to run - just saw on another site that if I sacrifice a chicken on a Thursday and run around my house naked four times that I won't GET A FREAKING VIRUS TO WHICH MY IMMUNE SYSTEM HAS NO RECOGNITION OF AND THEREFORE WILL NEED TO PLAY CATCHUP IN ORDER TO CREATE THE CAPACITY TO KILL AND DESTROY.

Oh - just found another - apparently I can buy some crystals that will work to, if only I believe...

Junk Science. Nothing more to say.

Did you find out if she got the shot in her stomach?

Or is this information just useless?

...the predicted number of deaths expected in the U.S. (30,000 - 90,000 Americans)...

How's the vaccine to cure CHOICE coming?

That pandemic kills a MILLION every year in this country!

Doctors are starting to test for Vitamin D just as they would white & red blood cells and, if deficient, are handing out prescriptions for Vitamin D. I know that not everyone can manufacture the proper amount of Vitamin D, even with getting sunlight and calcium. And I know that not every OTC brand of Vitamin D is quality stuff. Someone I know recommends Vitamin D in the form of a liquid along with fish oil, but it has to be one of the more expensive brands to get the full effect...their opinion.

I posted this link on another thread...it’s an ingredient insert of one of the H1N1 vaccines from the FDA:
