Twelve people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base by what officials believe was possibly carried out by an Army officer.
The suspected gunman was identified by ABC News as Major Malik Nadal Hasan.
The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said.
The gunman used two handguns, Cone said. He wasn't sure if the shooter reloaded the weapons during the attack.
We all must be vigilant.
I stare them down wherever I go.
I carry also.
I don’t care if religious muslims want to bow to a giant rock. I do care when they want to establish theocratic governments, with court legal systems that discriminate against non-mulsims.
POLITICAL Islam and RELIGIOUS Islam are intertwined.
I can’t change the heart of a man hellbent on worshipping Adolph Hitler or Joseph Stalin either. But I can express outrage and condemnation when they want to put their political ideas into modern day practice.
Political Islam needs to end. It establishes an apartheid system and denies man’s BASIC HUMAN RIGHT to a freedom of religion.
The FBI and media were quick to say that this was not terrorism.
The media was also quick to report that it was an attack using AK-47s, assault rifles, and sniper rifles.
He shouted Allah Akbar and some on the scene reported this to family immediate.
Was there ANYTHING that the media got right? It seems like another Balloon Boy story.

There is no word yet. Two of the 13 killed were reportedly “Civilians.” The odds of those “Civilians” being dependents is very high.
We are living in the era of an American Pravda Media. They spout endless lies. The jig is up. The public knows.
The Soviet people knew that Pravda was filled with lies and propaganda.
Shame is that the “historical” record (decades, hundreds of years later) will contain the lies and distortions (lies by omission are lies too) of the Mainstream Media establishment with little from “the other side”. It won’t all be contained in one place, that’s for sure. Letters to the editor are pointless in this day and age. Find a blog or forum where you can respond to the article direct and unfiltered. But in the end, it’ll disappear from the historical record.

Aiiiieeee. AP Radio News Headlines are still calling Hasan a “suspect” in the shooting.
AIIIIIEEEE. I can’t take this anymore. There WILL BE NO TRIAL. The man they shot DID IT. There were witnesses. The shooting ended!

I couldn’t say exactly. There were 2 live threads on FR yesterday. And at 3000 posts here, I won’t be going back through all of them.
It may have been inaccurate, we will know in the following days.
I’d still like to know more about the 2 suspects who were apprehended. From the scanner broadcast online, there were still reports of shootings around town after the original shooter was killed.
They sounded like they had one man under surveilance, trapped, and then taken into custody.
Also where did the reports of rifles come from?
There will be an effort to sweep this under the rug as the recruiters’ shooting was.
Except we already know of past plots against US military bases. And we know they DENIED (didn’t say “at this time it doesn’t look like...”) it had any ties to terrorism (jihad). So they’ve been dishonest already.

Actualy it appears to have been pure dumb luck that the first responder, the civilian Police Sgt who shot him, four times, and was shot once herself, was nearby working traffic for the college graduation taking place about 50 yards from the soldier center. It could have been a lot worse in that unarmed victim zone.
And that is my point, with these sorts, if you have to wait for a response to be sent, you're going to suffer a lot more causualties than you would if the targets could defend themselves. Assuming that the deterance effect of knowing at least some fraction of their targets will be armed doesn't make them think of something better to do that day.
Again, thank the Communists who won their victory over Joe McCarthy and others who made the “shocking” claim that there were some within the military and State Department who did not hold loyalties to America.
The Communists remained on the inside and we stopped saying politically inccorrect things about the Fifth Column.
They are most likely civilian employees or contractors. Clerks and such. But that said, they could and are likely to be, dependents as well. Female dependents.
The Politically Left Mediots are not trained to be reporters.
They are trained to bend the reality of the news into the DNC approved matrix in making news propaganda.
