This is a throwback to cultish, tribal behavior. I would think teachers would have enough education to see through this blind, hero-worship crap.

The main reason slave owners didn't want the slaves to learn to read is that it would educate them and they might break the bonds of slavery. But now, we're teaching people to read, and be slaves to a "cult" at the same time.

What's next, plastic beads and tupperware?

Only thing missing was the cute little black armbands, Brown Coats, and Red Flags! If nothing else, communists, marxists, and fascists sure know how to indoctrinate kids, don’t they!

Their mailbox is full. I will call tomorrow and ask what song they sang for President Bush.

It's all I can do to not post a picture of Fat Albert.

I actually feel sorry for those teenagers. Their hero is a politician. Can there be anything more pathetic or bound to disappoint than that?

My father inspired me to work hard in school. My mother inspired me to be patient and reserve my anger for times that mattered. My grandfathers, their friends, and the old guys at the shooting range inspired me to serve my country. My coaches inspired me to see lofty dreams as achievable goals. One central theme from all those people was the ethic of hard work. None of them promised me something for nothing, other than their counsel, love, and support.

The kids in this video say Obama is inspiring them, which might be true. What I suspect is that they are all going to wait for Obama miracles and be sadly disappointed.

Jamestown Project? Is this a ‘wait for it’ moment....are we going to hear “ACORN” at some point?

The UN yesterday was just the latest of many foreign audiences to which Obama has made clear his intention is to make sure the US is never #1 again.

That is not an ‘or’ that is the purpose of conflating a known and beloved theme with the new ideals 0bama and his communist cabal have in mind. In that one verse they introduced the new way of thinking overlaid on two old ones. A hymnal for Jesus and the “all men are Created equal” statement in the DoI. That makes 0bama (Marxism) a substitute for God and the Constitution. One stone for two birds.

Website for the entire school district is down, but got contact information from the school’s report card with the state.

Superintendent Christopher Manno: 609-387-3955
cmanno@burltwpsch.org

Principal Denise King: 609-386-3520
dking@burltwpsch.org

Haven’t had any luck with school board members since there’s no google cache of the site.

Thanks. Anybody around who lives around there and can find out the school board members’ names? We have to be aggressive about SEPARATION OF IDEOLOGY AND STATE. No chanting of someone’s name. No any of this sort of thing without first notifiying the parents. Politics...out of the school. We already have it intruding in what we drive, how we flush, what we eat, where we shop, what grocery bags we use, our light bulbs, what we wear and on and on and on. It has become pervasive and now is destroying friendships too. So can we at least keep the parent/child thing for ourselves?

Coming soon to your family -- IF you want to live.

Two-and-a-half-year-old Ting Hung-ping leading the whole family in singing a quotation from Chairman Mao set to music.
