Will never pass, but I applaud him for trying.
I agree, but Lord Love him for trying.
I see a big money making scheme here for lower life forms.
Jamal will claim to be the father and sign the paperwork for $20 and a pack of Kools.
How are they going to verify who the father is until the baby is born?
This man is my new hero. My third child was murdered because my ex-wife decided she didn’t want to be bothered having it. I had no say whatsoever.
Fair’s fair. They are have all the responsibilities but none of the rights in these situations.
I support this in concept. But how does it work on the flip side? If the guy wants his baby murdered and she refuses, can he plead off child support?
If women have an absolute and unilateral right to decide the fate of the unborn child (abort, adopt out, or keep), then men should have a right to decide whether to support the child.
That’s some ex-wife you had.
I advocate teaching boys and men that there are consequences to sexual relations and they have all the choice in the world to prevent pregnancy...very easy infact...and once they dismiss that choice/responsibility then its out of their court so to speak.....
which is very sad...
how about loving someone, getting married, and then having sex, fully prepared for fatherhood....no, that would be too inconvenient...
exactly!......a person who you have to ask permission to get an abortion or not to is not a beloved fatherly type...he's a sperm donor period...and sperm donors are a dime a dozen....
if any thing like this would ever happen, you'll see more abortions not less....IMO>..
this I AGREE with.....responsibilty goes two ways....maybe if some women knew they would have to raise Junior by themselves, they wouldn't be so quick to jump into bed with just anybody....
About time, isn’t it? Won’t THIS be popular with the left!!
I’d like to see it pass if only because it would have SCOTUS members ordering their Maalox in 55 gallon drums.
This is the same SCOTUS which ruled that stopping you in your car at random for a DUI checkpoint is constitutional, AND that burning the American Flag is protected free speech.
(I always thought that if someone were to get stopped at at DUI checkpoint, get out of his car and set fire to a flag, it would tie our entire Federal Court system in knots for the next 13 years...)

only if they give up their parental rights before the child is born or if DNA tests afterwards show the child is not the ‘father’s’
I knew a guy once that this happened to. They ended up in a divorce because of it. Her whole thing was it was her body and she didn’t want to be pregnant, and if he wanted a baby so bad, find a woman who did. She also didn’t think an abortion wrong because, until the child is breathing on it’s own, breathing air, it’s not a child. (typical lib thinking). The news devastated him. Ever since he was young, he always wanted to be a dad. He would have been a great dad. Sadly, he was killed in a car crash before fulfilling his dream. Very sad story.
I’d like to see something like this in place but, sadly, I don’t think it will ever happen.
While we’re on this subject, can someone tell me why a man who kills a pregnant woman and her fetus can be charged with double homicide but an abortion doctor or a woman who kills her own fetus cannot be charged with murder? I don’t understand.
it’s about damned time someone did this. why does the woman have rights regarding the termination of a child but the father has none? that is wrong on so many levels. No one should have the right to kill a child, period, but to destroy a mans child without even discussing it with him is just f@$##%@! heinous.
As though 2 people deciding to kill an innocent baby is
better than 1.
Another “and then you can kill the baby” law.
Why not establish Personhood to protect the God-given
right to life of babies in the womb?
