TAMPA – Bitter divisions over reforming America's health care system exploded Thursday night in Tampa amid cat calls, jeering and shoving at a town hall meeting.
"Tyranny! Tyranny! Tyranny!" dozens of people shouted as U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor struggled to talk about health insurance reforms under consideration in Washington, D.C.
"There is more consensus than there is disagreement when you get right down to it,'' Castor offered, immediately drowned out by groans and boos.
She pressed on, mostly unheard among the screams from the audience of more than 200.
"Tell the truth! Tell the truth!"
"Read the bill!"
"Forty-million illegals! Forty million illegals!"

Politicians and strategists praise Patrick Gaspard highly, although he stays away from the limelight.
"Patrick is the best political mind of his generation in New York and maybe the nation," says Kevin Sheekey, who as Michael Bloomberg's right-hand-man has frequently worked and battled with Gaspard.
"I wouldn't dispute that," said David Axelrod, Obama's chief strategist and Gaspard's cohort on the campaign trail. When reminded that such a title could be bestowed on Axelrod himself, the strategist said he was "happy to cede that" to Gaspard.
The Washington Post, among others, has announced that a longtime labor operative of Barack Obama's, Patrick Gaspard, will be named Obama's White House political director.
Gaspard served as national political director for much of Obama's general election campaign and was named deputy director of personnel for the transition effort. Prior to his work with Obama, Gaspard was the lead political operative for the 1199 branch of the Service Employees International Union, a huge and hugely influential union representing health care workers in New York. He spent the 2004 general election as the national field director for America Coming Together.
Gaspard was featured prominently in Ryan Lizza's recent New Yorker piece detailing how Obama won. Of his job interview with the Illinois Senator, Gaspard recalled Obama saying: "I think that I'm a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I'll tell you right now that I'm gonna think I'm a better political director than my political director."

Just back. I could not get in but got on TV. The little Skunk pulled a fast one. There was only room for 200 but 2000 showed up. She bolted out of the meeting like a scalded dog when some folks started razzing her when she said she won’t vote for any plan that does not have a Government run option. To a chorus of Boo’s. IIRC 3-4 hospitals in LA have closed their ERs.
Even in areas where there are not as many illegals waits can be long in a busy emergency room if your case is not triaged to the front of the line.
Of course all the illegals use it as their main doctors office since it is free. This is our future for ‘free’ healthcare. And oh yeah, this hospital runs in the red year after year. It is nothing but a black hole sucking in taxpayer dollars.
None of this would be happening if there weren't so many illegals. It sucks for your county to have this money-losing hospital, but obviously a lot of the businesses in the Central Valley want these people to be there and are counting on the "free" health care that is available for their illegal employees.

Now, I know it is just an old union slogan, but this guy chose to wear this particular shirt, on this particular night, for a particular reason.
He wanted (or maybe his Union boss wanted) to intimidate people into sitting down and shutting up. Unless, of course, they agreed with the party /union line.
