Hawaiian newspapers don't prove birthplace
WorldNetDaily ^ | July 22, 2009 | Drew Zahn

The announcements of Barack Obama's birth printed by two Hawaii newspapers in 1961 do not provide solid proof of a birth in the Aloha State because of uncertainties over the policies and procedures that apparently were being used at the time.

The Honolulu Star-Bulletin, for example, according to its website, now reprints birth information it receives from Hawaii's Department of Health.

"We don't have an editor who handles birth and marriage announcements; we print what we receive from the Department of Health Vital Statistics System," a Star-Bulletin newsroom operator explained to WND.

The operator said, "This is how we've always done it."

The newspaper's "proof" of birth, therefore, could be based on a state-issued "Certification of Live Birth" which, as WND has reported is insufficient alone, even for some State Department officials, to document the birthplace.

Many people remain unaware a child does not even have to be born in Hawaii to receive a Certification of Live Birth, the very "evidence" the White House has cited in defending its assertion Obama was born in Hawaii.

Simple answer- it’s possible that the Obama’s were having marital problems and living in Kenya. She gives birth to Barack then returns to Hawaii. Her parents see this and fear she’ll be raising Barack alone. So to strengthen Mrs. Obama’s chances of receiving welfare, they send the newspaper the COLB announcing Barack’s birth (or someone such as a case worker did it).

When Barack’s mother dropped out of the University of Hawaii in the fall of 1960 due to pregnancy, can you provide witnesses or evidence who saw her in the U.S. from then until the fall of 1961 when she enrolled at the University of Washington?

Gotta wonder if he didn't somehow get the identity of a child born then who died shortly after birth and was promptly forgotten by the world. In a tin hat moment I can see the people who are pulling his strings found him an identity that would be hard to disprove, especially if the MSM were on his side.

I keep hearing the term “Manchurian Candidate” applied to him. I have not see the movie but understand the plot and the concept. It's not tin foil hat stuff to look at all the facts we DO know and then look for scenarios that account for the majority of them. That's the kind of thing good novels and good detective work are made of.

If you look at what we do know for facts, and there are lots of them, the least likely scenario for connecting the dots is the very one Obama would have us believe. Go figure!

I don't know how it fits in to all of this but 40 or 50 years ago there were no where near the safeguards that are placed on birth and death records today. At one time anyone could get a certified copy of a birth certificate or a death certificate or a marriage certificate by simply showing up and paying the modest fee. Not so now, but in those days it was very simple to get all sorts of documents that were really describing someone else.

As I pointed out in an earlier post it was once a common scam to go through newspaper obits and find the death of someone, preferably an infant, and get that person's birth certificate and go from there.

If it were just the BC that was missing in action I would not be as suspicious as I am, but there are all sorts of things that have been carefully made very unavailable.

Again, make a list of what we DO know and then try to come up with a scenario that fits all the facts on your list. There are very few results that don't give real pause.

re: Bottom line...Obama is hiding something

Yes he is and although we haven't been able to compel him to ‘fess up the one thing can and should do is to keep raising the questions. Over and over. And the madder it makes his supporters the more we should bring up the doubts and questions. His people might deny it but it's getting under their, and his, skin and the cumulative effect is taking a toll.

It's going to rock along like this for goodness knows how long, but then one day it's going to reach the tipping point and when it does it will explode with great force.

He, and his people, know what's being hidden and they also know their ONLY defense against it becoming know is to go after those who ask the questions in hopes of delaying the inevitable result.

Especially since way back then a white 17 year old with a biracial black baby would be very unusual and not forgotten. <<<<<<<<<<<<

Exactly. At first when all the BC stuff came up, I was skeptical, thinking that of course it was inconceivable that anyone would try to circumvent such an obvious basic requirement of office. But given the totality of the records that he is refusing to make public, there is virtually no other explanation other than deception.

The Dems ought to be pressuring him to cough up the real BC if for no other reason than to shut us all the heck up. Imagine a Republican president hiding their BC as well as the other academic and health records that might have supported his contention of his birth place.

A woman who had twins at Kapiolani on that day has been interviewed by the MSM Hawaii daily paper and she said she didn’t remember Barry or the Dunhams<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Thanks, I hadn’t recalled hearing about that. Couldn’t imagine that angle hadn’t been checked out by now. I think someone would remember them, for sure.

It is unlikely that back in the early 1960s, it would have been very difficult, and quite expensive, for a young mother with a newborn baby to fly from Kenya to Hawaii. Nobody in this picture, including Anne Obama, her parents, or Barack Obama, Sr., would have had the financial resources to afford to do so. Additionally, airlines at the time may well have prohibited a young woman with a newborn on board given the social norms of the day and the fact that airlines catered to business travellers who would have been annoyed at a squalling baby.

My guess is that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, but that his father may not have been Barack Obama, Sr. I think it is possible that Frank Marshall Davis, a black Communist and a friend of Barack's grandfather, himself a man of leftist leanings, is the President's father. That may be the reason Obama will not release the birth certificate.

The image that you linked to has the title “Certificate of Live Birth” at the top. Is this different from a birth certificate?

Yes I have, and if you zoom in you will see that the lettering isn’t on the paper because it cast shadows underneath the letters.

Yes, he is hiding something, and it must be something big or he wouldn’t be going to such lengths to keep it secret.

The revelation will likely come from Occidental or Columbia or Harvard. More prying eyes there, not government employees. There might even be a copy of the BC in those files.

Anyone know anyone?

And I still wonder if birth records in Canada during the spring/summer of 1961 (not just August) have been adequately searched.

Any Canadians available and willing?

The problem, or at least a large part of it, is that no one in the MSM has any interest in defrocking the man. They have too much invested in him and his success. If there were the hatred for him there was for Nixon or GWB there would be no stopping them. Most of the people who really know how to research these things and get the facts are liberal newspaper or magazine types and they're not going to go there.

I think it will come apart at some point. And I think it could happen very quickly, with no warning. He's juggling too many things and that catches up to you.

I am still convinced he is nothing more than a puppet, a willing idiot who was bought off by appealing to his narcissism. Everyone has a price and whoever is doing this is really good at identifying a person's price and using it to enlist their aid, fully unknown by them at the start.

The big problem is that if there is simply no BC that's going to be hard to prove. Tough to prove a negative, especially as long as he stonewalls.

A few questions for the group:

1) What is the SOURCE as to WHEN Ann Dunham's parents moved to Hawaii in 1960? I've only heard of "summer 1960", which could be in September, having implications for Ann's Hawaiian residency under HRS 318 (SEE BELOW).

2) Also, what were the names of the Furniture stores Stanley Dunham worked at when they move to Hawaii? We know the names in Seattle and Ponca City...
I think that if we do a reverse telephone lookup for Stanley Dunham in Hawaii, we'd get an address and some new information as to where Obama's mama was in the early 1960s.

3) Could Stanley and "Toots" Dunham have lived in the SAME apartments in the early 60s that is in the background of THIS photo, circa 1972?

Yes what you suggest is highly probable IMO.

The President himself could do as all Americans must do to settle a birth issue: release the long form B.C.

All we are saying
is give release a chance.

Seriously, digging through public records is not rocket science. I’ve done it. If I lived in the Seattle area or in Hawaii, I’d be doing it now. But I don’t.

It just takes time and perseverance. There is evidence out there, and there’s no point in expecting someone else to do it for us.

Courts and public officials aren’t going to help. Obama is in a position of great power, and they have too much to lose.

But the records exist.

Again, are there FReepers in the Seattle/Vancouver area or at Occidental or Colombia or Harvard or in Hawaii that have the time and determination to dig?

Yes, but the idea that is an all-inclusive list of all reported deaths that time period is an unwarranted assumption. When you assume, you make an ass of you.
