What Is It That Former Russian Communists Understand That American Liberals Do Not?

Is it that American libs are still bitten by the red bug?

This commentary in Pravda, the former official newspaper of the Soviet Communist Party has the leftward slide in the U.S. nailed!

American capitalism gone with a whimper
By Stanislav Mishin

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics.

Both groups understand the same things. The difference is that Russians see that socialism leads to failure, and they know that's a bad thing. obama's voters see that socialism leads to personal power, and they don't care that national failure comes along with that power.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama.

His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

The Zero's adoring fans (and their leaders in the communist/socialist MSM and universities!) have not actually EXPERIENCED socialism. They have been (somewhat) protected from the ravages of socialism BY the evil capitalists that they so thoroughly despise.

Today's Eastern Europe people DID experience Communism and want NO PART of it.

Today's Western Europe people DID NOT experience Communism - but their MSM and universities were steeped in its communist propaganda for 50 years, and so have convinced the dumbed masses that they (the masses) want THEIR PART of it.

Liberals attribute past failures of communism to its enemies, or its leaders, or to its leaders' strategies, but not to the ideology itself. They think with just a few tweaks, it could really work.

Kind of like winning a Superbowl with an all-pass offense in professional football. It just doesn't work, not even with Tom Brady leading it!

They’ve experienced the reality of it in full force.

I recall long ago when Phil Donahue would have his pal Vladimir Pozner on, who was called the Soviet or “Russian Phil Donahue”. Some lady from Russia stood up crying telling the rest of the audience not to listen to this communist. One might wonder to whom exactly she was referring. :-)

About time for the “red states” to make a declaration of independence from the rump government that styles itself “blue-state”. WE do not have to obey the dictates of the failing nascent obama regime. That is for the sissy-boys and the she-men of the fever-swamp left, not for real Americans. There shall soon be no practical framework from which to run the newly highly centralized government.

They may not be able to escape in Chicago from this highly partisan form of pseudo-diversity, but nobody has to hold still for it in the broad prairies that stretch to the south and west from that benighted city.

They know comrades when they see them.

Every FReeper/American should understand these ideas:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlkPkJInUmU

These are not liberals and democrats, these are stone-cold commies.

Communism doesn’t begin with piles of corpses, it begins with hope and change.

Communism is not a huge number of people deciding to be serfs, slaves and suicidal, it is a huge number of people wanting hope and change.

Freedom is binary. You’re either free, or you are not. There are only shades of slavery.

Americans are no longer free. They’re suffering a kind of socialism/communism/fascism.

This is not what the founders had in mind and it is not freedom, as such.

The enemy of freedom is on the left.

The time to begin the fight is right now!

That just because you’re a good commie doesn’t mean you’re going to get a cute little dacha on the lake.

The difference is that the Russians actually cared about their country. The Americans that voted for Chairman BO only cared about getting something for nothing. The polite word is ethnic identity, but what it really means is that blacks voted for a black because he was black. The vast majority never knew Chairman BO’s political positions. Some blacks believed that he would actually pay their rent. They care nothing for this country, never have, never will.
The liberals hate American traditional values. If they could, they would make Atheism the official religion of the United States. The State is their god, and they create the State. It is a religion with them.

I read this earlier from a DRUDGE link. I can’t disagree with a word of it :(

In fact, he doesn’t even get into health care, carbon credits, military affairs, SCOTUS or the VAT.

The single most often used plea in the Gulags and work collectives during the Soviet Union era was "Comrade Stalin, save me!"

With all due respect to you “Ernest” because I know you are a long time Freeper, I think folks should refrain from posting articles from blogs that are really only quoting from other sources.

It would be better to seek out the original source and post that, providing it has not been posted before.

In this case Pravda is “reprinting” and article originally posted on an anonomous blog. We have no way of knowing who wrote the article or what that author’s actual nationality is, or anything else about him.

Besides all that, Pravda barely even resembles what it was under the Soviet Union, but more resembles the National Enquirer now. Just go look at some of the other articles on their web-site. (French Release Secret Pictures of UFOs, Huge Hairy Sea-Monster Found, ETC.)

The actual essay is good but would have more weight if a person could trust it actually cam from a Russian.

Yes, especially his misspellings. There was a nasty discussion on one of the dozen or so previous postings of this article about the alleged illiteracy of the author, because he misspelled “descent”.

The difference is that the Russians actually cared about their country.

Thinking about it, that statement is, in context, correct. A minor qualifier might be added, that excludes Lenin (who was not very Russian) and the Bolsheviks.

Most of the original Communists got dead or exiled.

Correction. 150 years. They’ve been in love with Marx and his demonic spawn since his Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital, both published in the mid-1800s.

“Be not decieved; God is not mocked: For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
~ Galatians 6:7

“For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.”
~ Hosea 8:7
