WHAT IS UP WITH TONY BLAIR?????
Blair steps up fight to be crowned first 'President of EU' Brown gives grudging blessing to his old rival's return to new job at centre of the global stage http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/blair-steps-up-fight-to-be-crowned-first-president-of--eu-1662928.html Tony Blair has emerged as the leading candidate to become the first permanent president of the European Union after Gordon Brown gave his grudging blessing to the plan. The former prime minister has stepped up his campaign for the job, which he wants to use to build a bridge between Europe and the new Obama administration. His return to the global stage would be a shock to his critics over the Iraq war and dismay many in Europe. But The Independent on Sunday has learnt that Mr Brown has accepted that his old rival should be in pole position for the appointment, on the basis that Britain needs to have a key figure in the architecture of the "new world order

Tony, don’t take it up with the Pope, take it up with God. He said it, plain as day.

The pope should’ve asked him why he converted if he doesn’t believe church doctrine?

Speaking to the gay magazine Attitude, the former Prime Minister, himself now a Roman Catholic...
I guess we now see the reason for Phony Tony's phony conversion.
What a freak.

I will tolerate a homosexual individual.
However, I refuse to accept the ACT of “gay sex” as a natural behavior.
To: TaraP
If Tony Blair wanted to be in a church where homosexual conduct is approved of, gays can get married, women can be ordained, and so forth, he should have remained an Episcopalian. They even have the same nifty vestments, smells and bells and all the rest of the trappings. What’s the point of crossing the Tiber anyway?

religious figures everywhere to reinterpret their religious texts to see them as metaphorical,... According to Merriam-Webster: metaphorical is -
1: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them.
I would like to know exactly what other aberrant behavior he is talking about.

We've had enough of homosexuality in the clergy, and don't need tolerance of un-natural behavior there or in society.
BTW, isn't the Holy Father that is "entrenched" on this viewpoint, but the teachings of the Bible and the Church for 2,000 plus years.
Tony Blair ought to figure out if he is "comfortable" in being a Catholic and being associated with its teachings. He can't have it both ways, if you know what I mean...
