Tony Blair tells the Pope: you're wrong on homosexuality....
Times Online ^ | April 8th, 2009

Tony Blair has challenged the “entrenched” attitudes of the Pope on homosexuality, and argued that it is time for him to “rethink” his views.

Speaking to the gay magazine Attitude, the former Prime Minister, himself now a Roman Catholic, said that he wanted to urge religious figures everywhere to reinterpret their religious texts to see them as metaphorical, not literal, and suggested that in time this would make all religious groups accept gay people as equals

One of Tony Blair’s kids must be gay inorder for him, a newly made Catholic to say that to the Pope.

religious figures everywhere to reinterpret their religious texts to see them as metaphorical,...

According to Merriam-Webster: metaphorical is -
1: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them.

I would like to know exactly what other aberrant behavior he is talking about.

MORE On TONY BLAIR:

Q&A: Tony Blair on How to Restart the Mideast Peace Process
In between bites of an orange on a balcony in the fabled American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem, Tony Blair, ex–British Prime Minister and current mediator for the Quartet - the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations - in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, spoke candidly with TIME’s Jerusalem bureau chief Tim McGirk about the obstacles to peace. Earlier, Blair had met with Benjamin Netanyahu, the hawkish new Israeli premier, who says he will keep talking peace but left open the question of whether Israel would accept a Palestinian state. “One thing I learned,” says Blair, “is that you simply just don’t give up

The pope, like myself, is decorated dust.

However, the Word of God says that homosexuality is an abomination and shouldn’t be “celebrated” as an equally moral choice as marriage between a man and woman.

Like I’ve said elsewhere,

liberal “Christians” must discount the Word of God
and not treat it as authoritative,

because there is no way to justify liberal ideology
against the Word.

We've had enough of homosexuality in the clergy, and don't need tolerance of un-natural behavior there or in society.
BTW, isn't the Holy Father that is "entrenched" on this viewpoint, but the teachings of the Bible and the Church for 2,000 plus years.

Tony Blair ought to figure out if he is "comfortable" in being a Catholic and being associated with its teachings. He can't have it both ways, if you know what I mean...

Homosexuals are equal, it's just that their "lifestyle" choices are considered sins in the eyes of God.

Love the sinner, hate the sin.

Bingo! It looks like we have a winner here! Like I said one of his sons must be gay.

Further proof that Liberals want to control what religions can and cannot believe. There is no such thing as freedom of religion in a Leftist Utopia.

Perhaps the ex Prime Minister might have chosen a religion more in line with his spiritual conceptions. Considering that Roman Catholicism adheres to the belief of Papal infallibility he better either study up or become an Episcopalian
