me too, my sister is in TN. She just told me last night how ZerO is sooooooo smart and has great ideas and how GWB ruined this country in the last eight years. Dumb as a post she is, plus her brain is usually soggy with alcohol.

When I wrote to my senators (for all the good it will do) about the stimulus bill, I also suggested revisiting the GS programs that have created a dependent society within our lifetimes. A huge swath of the budget goes to those programs year after year, decade after decade, without question, and with precious little to show for the trillions spent.

Its a deliberate set up, started in ‘77 with the CRA. That led to the 1992 Bill, which set mandates for banks to write bad loans.... THE BANKS WERE FORCED BY ACORN AND THE GOVERNMENT TO WRITE BAD LOANS. Yea, By LAW they had to do it. Then Oil Spikes in price and blamo... total meltdown when homeowners got seriously squeezed on Gasoline problems. It all happened concurrently and at the same rate, HUGE spikes... And who did it? The very same people who are c o v e r i n g i t u p. Congress, those in power, the Democrats. For the last three years they have had control of the House, the House writes the government checks. The senate can make changes, the president signs it into law or not. Who is forcing this down everyone’s throat? The same ones in power doing the SHOVING! I mean seriously its obvious not just to me..... right?

Hello?! People see this right?

I just finished watching most of Obama's first official so-called open news conference this Monday, feb.9, 2009.

1. I found it amazing, because Obama already had a prepared list of reporters who he would call on to ask him questions.

2. My point is this: What kind of legitimate news conference is it when the President of the United States is so scared of certain reporters' questions that he has a prepared, safe list of reporters who he will call by name to ask him questions? 3. In my opinion, that is a very unfair way to hold a so-called open press conference.

4. That is, if Obama already knew beforehand what reporters he was going to call on and what questions they were going to ask him, why didn't Obama simply have those reporters mail in their questions to the White House and have Obama respond to the questions on national tv in the privacy of his White House office?

5. Just wondering: How long must we wait for a brave reporter to get up at a so-called Obama news conference and ask Obama the following FOUR questions:

a. What is the name of the country where you were born?

b. What is the name of your birth hospital, because you and your sister give the names of two different Hawaii hospitals.

c. Have you ever gone by the name of Soetoro, your deceased Indonesian stepfather's name?

d. When will you release your long form birth certificate---the one with the names of the doctor and birth hospital names on it?

Will someone in the main news media please show some guts by asking the questions above at a news conference, a news conference held by either Obama or one of his staff?

Remember: A one 4 year term president is a weak president, so a one term Obama president would be a weak president.

He was talking about J.V. Martin Middle School in Dillon, S.C. He visited it in January 2008. Here is its website and a picture:
http://www.dillon2.k12.sc.us/jvm/default.htm

But this article says he was wrong about its history. It was built in 1896 not the 1850s as he said but what’s a half century or so. He never gets historical facts right.

There’s more info out there if you look for it.

he made it sound like a one room wooden framed building about to fall over from the train rattling it’s timbers daily. DramaQueenObama..seems like the school has had many improvements over the years, I just doubt every other word out of the ZerO’s mouth.

I’m late coming to the thread and haven’t made it through it, nor did I have a chance to watch this. However, from the comments on this thread, I think we should advise President Obama to “Don’t quit your day job.”

That second link gives a dismal story on the school. I’ve heard from my sister who drove through that area once that it’s pretty barren, just cotton fields..don’t know if that’s the case today...

Low taxes in the south, so end result, some poor schools??

The post mortem on this bizarre Obama speech:

Obama has the votes, he does not need to sell this.

The whole press conference is irrelivant. What is happening is Obama is DESPERATLY jumping in front of the parade in order to seem relevant.

Pelosi and Reid have taken care of this massive pork bill.

so why does Obama need to “look busy” and relevant?

why is Obama in campaign mode? has he already become the irrelivant president?

Well, thanks! It was a little late, but a nice wake-up call, at least. Completely washed the thought of the woman, who's name shall not be mentioned.
