Unlike George W. Bush, who quietly and without any fanfare WROTE letters to the families of fallen servicemen and women, I take President Obama at his word - that he merely SIGNS letters.

I totally agree with you. There is an article going around FR that outlines how he hypnotizes people. An expert in the field gives specific examples of his speech, and explains what effect that has on people. It’s a several hundred page document. It makes good sense to me - people are hypnotized by him. Not your truly.

Major Garrett is the FoxNews White House correspondent. Mara Liaison is on a FoxNews panel sometimes, but represents NPR, IIRC.

I can’t watch as he is just too annoying especially with the smugness of his misstatements. But you folks are what is getting me through. It sounds like a comedy but I’m sure the media won’t report it that way.

Your right it was a PRESS conference but are you also trying to say he did not know America was listening even after he (his team) highly publicized / promoted this conference.
Yes he should have looked art the press (Not above them all) but also to the camera some of the time would have been proper and better received by the people he was preaching to. Remember one of his purpose for the conference was to build the American public confidence on the stimulus as announce by his own team. So yes he should have used (looked) the camera a fair percentage of the time.

Come on, now. Let's be fair to Present Obama. He doesn't merely SIGN letters written to the families of soldiers killed in action. He has a machine that does that.
