Hey — she’s more qualified than Princess. He’s joking, of course, but acclimate yourself to the idea now: She’ll be only 52 in 2016, slightly younger than the last Democratic First Lady was when she joined the Senate. And wouldn’t you know it, 2016 also happens to be the year Roland Burris’s seat comes up for election. Assuming he runs and wins two years from now, he’ll be 79 and primed for retirement just as The One’s second term is expiring.

He just do it. Why not?

O can be President for life and she can be Senate Overseer for Life to make sure his policies get passed.

No. Bill Clinton. We need somebody to take Ted Kennedy’s place as the guy who does waitress sandwiches, cavorts on the beach wearing nothing but a Brooks Brothers buttondown, and nails nubile young women on powerboats. Bubba is your man.

Worse .. zero goes two terms, Mich is a 'successful', experienced senator, runs and wins the women's vote .. and stays for eight herself.

Thank God, I'll be dead by then.

And with all the drinkin' I plan to be doin' during zero's term .. I may not last that long.

Seriously, if Paterson wanted to stick his finger in the eye of the Clintons, the Obamas, the New York Democrat Establishment, and Rod Blagojevich allat once, he should appoint Carl McCall. it would make up for teh way the Democrats in New York just abandoned him when he deard run for governor against Boy Andrew.

Washington will become even more of a gigantic circus in the coming two years. GOP takes the House in 2010. Americans will want the grownups back in charge.

“GOP takes the House in 2010”. They better change their attitude if that's going to happen. I can't tell a Democrat from a Republican anymore.

Might as well. New York State has voted in carpetbaggers before. Seems celebrity trumps residency in NY.
