No, I think he’s above the American Negro’s taste of soul food. He’ll probably begin with sturgeon brined eggs on tips of French toastletts with a touch of cream cheese. As to O, I can’t blame him much. I avoided Bush’s speech too. I know what he did and didn’t do. O should have been more subtle though. How do you heal while annoying 20% of the population through such an obvious snub?

I liked Bush’s speech, but I don’t really think that Obama needed to be there. It might have looked like he was trying to up stage Bush.

There were pictures of the original meet and greet. Obama’s sneering was obvious. He made a fool of himself, looking very childish.
No, if 0bama was there, he would have been the focus of attention instead of Bush. He was right to not attend, since President Bush’s last speech should focus on President Bush.
Of course he wasn’t there! If the first two rows were any indication, only the noble and heroes were in attendance.

Better to have him not there than behaving like the black wife of the black Marine hero, sitting in the front row. She didn’t even dress for the occasion and her slouched, arms folded body language was disrespectful. Why did she bother to attend?
