VANITY: How do I add pictures to a post?
Posted on 12/25/2008 12:44:00 PM PST by jeltz25
How does one post pictures, or add them to a post? I know it's probably pretty simple, but any help is appreciated
thanks

I don't understand the post. I clicked on it and saw the jumping dog. Is there some symbolism I'm not getting? Just for practice here's a picture of me opening one of the doors im my missile base:
It weighs between 6,000 and 7,000 pounds in a 31,000 pound door frame. There are 3 other doors and frames just like it in there.

Aw, geez. Im = in.
I’m a dork. Mrs. Lilac already knows that but just to be clear; I acknowledge it occasionally.

Now that's a friggin’ door!
When the silo was active, did they have a gear drive or other mechanical system for opening or closing them?

They were opened manually and held in place with 4 hydraulic deadbolts about 3.5” in diameter for each door. I watched a 10 year old girl open and close a door with one hand. They’re that well mounted and balanced.
Any idea what the post I responded to meant?

I don’t have a clue.
Unless she was just trying to practice posting a picture and messed up the HTML format.

Check posts 20, 28, & 42. You’ve been here a lot longer than me so please don’t take this as me being condescending.
I just figured out how to do this myself from the posts I cited. Next time I’m on a PC instead of my PDA I’ll try to help you if you want.
There’s an old thread called html sandbox that has a whole bunch of information. So much that it’s hard to absorb all of it at once.

...can someone advise me of any proper protocol to observe when one posts a political cartoon not of their own making?
I see a lot of clever things but am reluctant to post them cause I didn’t create them. But I see a lot cartoon type pics here that are on other sites too.
Not that I intend to go ape crazy posting pics ...I just want to know the etiquette involved.
I asked my wife and she said anything that’s up for 24hrs is considered domain and free to use by the public...
...I thinking there’s more to it than that. Thank you.
