I can’t figure it out.

The only thing that makes sense is that O’s supporters have some kind of a filter that allows them to read the One’s words they agree wth, while completely filtering out the ones they don;t wish to hear.

That is the only thing that makes sense. Otherwise, how could these people revere a man whose plan is to put them all out of business?

or the alternative would be that the US mines go bankrupt due to EPA restrictions and regulations and then the Chinese come in and buy them for pennies on the dollar.

I really hope that the entire coal industry is destroyed

Do you live off the grid producing your own electricity?

Are you EFFIN kidding me???

Notice it was the UNION WORKERS that said that. An Obama win means that they can intimidate workers out of millions!!

Most Coal miners make over 70 K per year. That will fall under Obama’s adjusted definition of “the rich”. Add to that, the new Union voting law, the Unions will increase their fees. The workers will take much less home from both sides. The Union Bosses will take more.

Not only that, Unions will increase all across this country and wages/benefits will be forced up to unaffordable levels for most business and industry. They will have to increase prices on most everything, including food. That is because even farmers will have to deal with Unions when their workers decide they want it. The owners of all business will have no say in it, other than going out of business, under this new Socialist rule.

My father was in the mine roof bolt business for 30 years. This union is and has always been a mouthpiece and left arm of the DNC.

They have never cared a damn thing about the industry, or its workers. They are simply a dues collecting, vote manufacturing machine for the Democrat party.

“By the way, Day 2 of the Obama World Market Melt Down!
Its all Obama’s fault!”

########

Only if his media says so.

Which, of course, will never happen.

In Year 3 of Obama’s reign they will still be blaming George Bush for whatever they can.

Count on it.

“HI! I’m the guy in charge of the Cola Miners union, and our new President is going to trash our industry thoroughly, but We, as a union, will do great. Just not those who actually work within said union, but us union management types will be fine!”

Total frickin morons!

President Cecil E. Roberts is the typical Jude's goat to lead the lambs to slaughter and he gets big bucks for it.

They deserve whatever crap comes down the pike. I hope they all have to stand in soup lines after Obama is done with them.

the most shocking and disgusting thing is how they could disrespect our men and women in uniform by putting MURTHA back in office. WTF?!? MAy they rot for that one.

Another case of unions demanding their people vote democratic. My husband is retired from Delphi and we got massive amounts of paper in the mail telling us how to vote.

We just throw them away. But it sounds like these union members voted exactly how they were told.

Another alternative is that some Dem. senators and congress-critters
will do a “come to Jesus” talk with Obama.
And make him understand that doing any substantive damage to energy
industries like coal, natural gas, petroleum and nuclear will make
him a one-termer. Hopefully they’ll also explain that there’s always
the possibility of a repeat storming of “The Winter Palace”.

This is not an original thought...the basic theme has been discussed
in the editorial pages of The Wall Street Journal.

But I fear we’ll find out that Obama and Co. are even more fanatical
than Jimmy Carter when it comes to doing the trendy dumb thing,
not the rational thing.

And John L. Lewis rolls over in his grave.

Illinois is a coal state. What did Senator Obama do for his constituents? Promise to bankrupt the coal industry.

“He will invest in the future of coal in America,” Roberts said”

Wow, this person lives in an alternate universe. How does Roberts’ claim square with the Obama plan to “bankrupt” the coal industry?
