I can’t figure it out.
The only thing that makes sense is that O’s supporters have some kind of a filter that allows them to read the One’s words they agree wth, while completely filtering out the ones they don;t wish to hear.
That is the only thing that makes sense. Otherwise, how could these people revere a man whose plan is to put them all out of business?
It’s not just O’s supporters, it’s Dems & Liberals, in general. Go back into the Clinton years and read their words one Hussein & their WMD programs. And look at the videos of Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, et al, insisting that there’s no problem with Fannie Mae.
Time after time after time, they act as if they did not say these things. And time after time after time, squishy, toothless Republicans and their accomplices in the MSM let them get away with it.
We didn’t deserve to lose this election, but timid, moderate Republicans sure did.
The same thing happens on the right. We cling to the words that ring true, while discarding the words that clash with our beliefs.
“The only thing that makes sense is that Oâs supporters have some kind of a filter that allows them to read the Oneâs words they agree wth, while completely filtering out the ones they don;t wish to hear.”
Your term “filter” is apt. The phenomenon at work here is called cognitive dissonance, and it is rampant on the left. The person is not intentionally ignoring the info about Obama intending on bankrupting the coal industry. Rather, his “mind” quite literally filters out that info because it runs counter to his world view.

See mt tag line. That’s how.
