Well, that’s what happend to a factory close to my home in western PA.

Built with help from Germany to make VW’s

Between the unions and affirmative action the productivty was low and plant closed

Then the Japanese bought it (SONY)- that also failed

I think the Chinese are making something there now- ?

My perpetually underachieving democrat union brother who hasn’t worked steadily since VW left in the 1980’s blames it all on George Bush. He’s one getting a donated goat for Christmas
