"The government has the power to ban polygamy and incest and I don't know where the line would be drawn if the government doesn't have the power to ban gay marriage. Marriage is a sort of a government thing because it is a legal union, so the government should be able to define it."

Wow, this kid is smarter than 99% of the folks in the media.

Alex Colbin has all the rights of every resident of California. Including marriage.

Any eligible man can marry any eligible woman. Any eligible woman can marry any eligible man. Nobody is discriminated against in the existing marriage laws. Marriage has a definition which includes all who want to participate in it.

Alex can also enter into a domestic partnership in California, which has virtually all the legal rights and responsibilities of marriage. Tens of millions of dollars were spent by the gay activists over the legal definition of one word : marriage.

Somebody said why does anybody care about gay marriage, why are we talking about it, implying that we should just accept it. Obviously the gay activists care very much about how we define marriage in our society, otherwise they would be happy with the legal partnership rights they have gained in some states, and leave it at that.

For those of you who don't know Paly is a High School in Palo Alto, CA. It is on El Camino Real just across the street from Stanford University. It's a affluent community and home to some of the biggest hypocrites you would ever want to meet (or maybe you wouldn't want to meet).
Although rated as a top academic high school, it's also a training ground for indoctrination of young kids. It's kinda like a Madrassa but with lattes and BMW's in the parking lot. I really hate Paly and mostly because of the types of people who send their kids there. I don't hate the kids because they are just kids. I hate the parents and the teachers at this place. It's the indoctrination of the kids that the left does that I despise so much.

Stupid Liberal people will always do what they can to corrupt the youth. I talk to my brothers kids about this kind of stuff - it drives my brothers girlfriend (A big closet Lib) mad.

Be a good parent, fight against indoctrination you don’t belive in. You gotta talk to your kids. I don’t have any of my own (That’s probably a good thing LOL).

The kid talking about government ‘defining’ marriage is a moron.

The PEOPLE decide what marriage is. The government enforces the decision of the PEOPLE.

Sheeple idiot.

Alex Coblin has the same rights that I do and so this is not an issue of discrimination.

I fail to see where the problem is.

"I think red was chosen because it's a symbol of love and shows the importance of being able to love whoever you want.

Hey Lynne you can love whomever you want, just don't ask the state to give you a special right and legal standing.

"This is the first time that there's a constitutional amendment to restrict rights,"

Hey Teach, have you ever heard of Prohibition? The Volstead Act? Perhaps you know it as the 18th Amendment.

For all you foolish straights who support this homosexual agendsa I direct you to something Paul Newman said in the movie Slap Shot.
How are you going to feel when you come home and some old queen is trying to seduce your young son?
