Rasmussen includes “leaners” in his national tracking poll. Leaners are undecided by definition. He probably includes “leaners” in his state polls as well. This falsely inflates Obama’s numbers.

Our Country Deserves Better email says Fox’s poll is showing only a 1 point lead for zer0 among early voters? I have not seen that elsewhere. If that is true it is good news. At least one poll showed a 51-46 lead for the bad guys, and over the weekend supposedly another poll (AP?) said it was 59-40! I hope that is wrong.

It’s not. McCain/Palin comfortably win VA.

Virginia would not even be an issue without Mark Warner. My only worry is that Mark Warner will win 60 percent of the vote...now the problem with that is that people are going to have to vote McCain and then Warner...how many people are going to do that?????? That is a huge worry for virginia. I think Virginia Senate Seat will be the first call of the eveing to Warner. The first in 2006 was the Nelson-Harris race which was done so early, FREEPERS were stunned that it was called even before polls closed but the spread was so wide that Harris could never make it even with 100 percent of the votes that were left to count.

That is ridiculous and an insult to the memory of every Virginian who has ever died in defense of this great country.

Very encouraging. I see that Strategic Vision is going to release some data for OH, FL and GA today, too. Let’s hope Mac takes it!

After an analysis of the big map from Rove.com and Real Clear Politics.com, my take is this:

Assuming that Mac wins every poll that shows a -5% or better, based upon the slanted liberal biased numbers, I come up with 247 EVs for McCain. That’s counting Indiana, Ohio, Florida, and Georgia in the win column, which were all red states in 2004.

That leaves Nevada (5), Colorado(9), Minnesota (10), Virginia (15), and Pennsylvania (21) with realistic hope of getting the remaining 23 EVs.

RCP has Virginia as a “toss up”, despite showing Zero with a 7 point lead. So, I think Virginia is a good possibility.

That leave 8 more. He can get it by picking off either Colorado, Minnnesota, or Pennsylvania. A poll just came out in Minnesota yesterday that showed McCain 3 points down, despite all other polls showing a double digit lead for Obama.

If McCain gets BOTH Pennsylvania and Virginia, I think there’s an excellent chance he wins the election, and we should have a good idea of that early on the election. If he doesn’t win either, it could be a bad night.

He probably needs to win at least one of PA or VA to have a realistic shot to win and then a combination out of the remaining states I have listed above to get the remaining 23 EVs. I’m hoping Archbishop Chaput’s pro-life pronouncements will sway Colorado Catholics in big numbers to McCain, just in case Colorado is needed.

My prediction is McCain with 297 EVs, by picking off PA, VA, CO, and NV, and the less than stellar Messiah 241.

That probably means that McCain will win all convincingly.

“How can this be, when Obama’s lead WIDENS, as Fox reported....”

Notice that Fox’s sampling gives a 7% advantage to Dems, which just happens to be the margin of the “lead” for Messiah?

That’s how.

No doubt Sunday polls skew Democrat as more of them are at home.

Churches are open and abortion clinics are closed.

I think we can win without Virginia. See my post #47.

However, I think we will Virginia - no doubt about it.

Sadly a lot of these dolts voting for 0bama don’t care about any of the negatives. Even if they proved he isn’t a citizen, they would say so what. Very scary.

I encountered 2 friends online today who hadn’t even heard of the birth certificate controversy, and neither knew 0bama’s middle name. That’s how well these things have been covered up.

Keep up the great work with the GOTV effort in VA. Your efforts just might make the difference. VA will likely be won or lost by a few thousand votes.

I’m afraid Warner will win too. But all that means is that McCain won’t have coat tails. McCAin will earn a few extra votes for Gilmore but Warner will not do anything for Obama.

VA voting for Obama is ridiculous. Has nothing to do with Virginians of the past.

By the way, I think McCain will pull it out.

It’s seems more and more possible Obama might win the popular vote and McCain will win the electoral college.

I agree and the pundits are yapping their jaws about this possibility too. They said National vote will be the new way if this happens....aholes. They can't win by the rules they will find a different route.
