Will he have the Greek “Mount Olympus” columns behind him, again?.....:)
Yep, turn him off, as soon as that face shows.
I call it his “Great Pumpkin” speech. Y’know, the one where Linus got up in front of the student body and told everyone about the Great Pumpkin? This will be B. Hussein’s.
Just remember that everything he promises to do for us is either a lie or unconstitutional and we wouldn’t want it anyway, and everything that he promises to do to us he will. Ten times over. And what he won’t say is that he’s a full blown Marxist/socialist and the most extreme evil liberal abortionist to ever run for president of the US, and possibly of any civilized country on this planet!
Statement from Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"The Communist Party USA views the 2008 elections as a tremendous opportunity to defeat the policies of the right-wing Republicans and to move our country in a new progressive direction.
The record turnout in the Democratic Presidential primary races shows that millions of voters, including millions of new voters, are using this election to bring about real change. We wholeheartedly agree with them."
I’m afraid its going to help him. They’ve had months to wordsmith and poll out the language and ideas. There is no opposition or questions being asked....its a straight up acting job and the obamanaughts eat that crap up.
I’m disappointed that McCain hasn’t dropped a surprise on him....maybe tomorrow morning there will be a headline stealing October surprise? I hope.
It’s not as if he’s underexposed.
It’s the youth (or yout, depending on where you’re from) of America he’s hoping to gin up. He’s afraid they’re too ADD to remember and vote on November 4, oh wait, November 5, or too lazy if it’s bad weather, or they’re hung over, or they just got a call from a buddy who wants to go out. You know. That reliable youth vote.
I heard the format was the “Times average man on the street” stating what problem they were facing and Obama explaining what he could do to help them.
It could be an effective way to connect to people. Add in an extra dose of NLP/hopenosis and I wouldn’t dismiss this.
Expect it to be a slick production with lots of sentimental, “It’s a promise we make to our children” type statements that have absolutely nothing to do with whether Obama would make a good president.
CNN just announced they’re NOT going to accept the ad buy. ABC also refused. FOX News wasn’t asked. Just an FYI
I think this won’t help and can only hurt Obama. He’ll drone on and on saying the same things the American people have heard him say over and over again during the campaign. I think people on the fence might just get sick of him. One can hope.
"Are you following me, camera guy?"
Where are the McCain people asking those questions? Are they busy making ads asking that question of Obamahood?
People have to be sick of his commercials by now
So a half-hour ad is a major risk. But it won't be him on television all the time. They'll try to mix things up.
